I will be blunt honest with my review. I was amazed by the response time and the frequency by which I was contacted before hiring the services of Jacob J. Sapochnick. For some reason, this changed once you sign a contract with them. What changed? I'll explain... We understand the world was hit by this pandemic and many things changed, not to mention processes, procedures and embassies being closed making USCIS's duties challenging to carry out and I would expect this firm's as well. However, we were changed specialists twice. In other words, we had three specialists. The first individual was very nice and attentive but we didn't feel everything we were told by her was clear. The second individual was also attentive but unfortunately I had to be on my toes because of a number of mistakes she made with our paperwork in the uploading process and some lack of knowledge as to what documents and versions of documents we needed from our home country. I had to research myself. Here comes the good part. It was only when Marie Puertollano was assigned to our case that we felt we were being taken care of and could finally breathe out our worries. Aside from being friendly which is nice, immigrants want and need someone who we feel can get the job done...and this is Marie. In simple terms, you feel safe with her. She is extremely professional and proficient in what she does. I arrived in the U.S. in the 70s and have been a citizen for many decades but no so for my wife and our 4-year old at the time. We were separated due to the pandemic. It was a very traumatic experience for us as a family but Marie was amazing in making this process much more swift and smooth. My son is now a U.S. citizen and my wife a resident. We can't thank Marie enough for all the legal advice and personal advice she gave us throughout this long and arduous process. We will be forever in her debt.
