I went to Frank Clowney in regards to my unemployment hearing. I had 3 cases presented against me from my former job & EDD, he handled all 3. He helped prep me the day before the hearing and again before we began. He won all 3 cases as well! He is affordable and a very knowledgeable lawyer. I am very thankful I chose to go with him. If you are also up for an EDD hearing I strongly suggest hiring a lawyer, I know on the form it says you don’t need one and that it’s geared toward self-representation but seriously, it’s a legit hearing with lots of questions asked weird ways from the judge and the prosecution side. It’s even harder because (in my case) it was over the phone so it really is solely dependent on what you say and how you say it. I don’t think I would’ve won without Mr Clowney.
