When a family member was arrested, taken to jail, and I was not able to communicate with him, I called Ricson Dakanay. I felt helpless and scared. It was after hours, and I was able to speak to Ricson right away. Ricson patiently and empathetically listened to my concerns and the predicament my family member was in. He went to Southwest Detention Center the very next morning to speak to my family member, letting me know he was okay, relieving my worst fears. Throughout the entire process, Ricson quickly responded via text message, answering questions and/or concerns, putting me and my family member at ease. Ricson is knowledgeable, companionate, honest, professional and exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Ricson and staff were truly wonderful to have fighting my case. They were very timely on all matters and kept me informed and in the loop through the whole process which took around 4-5 months. Not only that but he is just a great guy in general and very easy to talk to while understanding, respecting, and appreciating my situation. I came to them with 2 felony counts charged against me and they worked hard with the DA to come to an agreement to drop them to misdemeanors and serve no time. They did such an immaculate job that even the judge had a difficult time looking at my deal and accepting it, telling me I’m very lucky and that if he had this case while he was a DA or public defender, that I most certainly would have been serving time and been in a worse situation. Very much appreciate this firm and staff and my relationship with the attorneys and, though I don’t expect to ever need their council again, hope that I get a chance to just hang out more with them in the real world outside of law! I would not normally complete a review like this and only do so to encourage anyone considering Ricson and his team of Valerie, Vanisa, Kelsea, Maria and other associates to retain this team for their legal needs. I had quite an obscure case as well and like others, a lot riding on it and these guys went to bat for me (and listened to my moaning) from start to finish. From facing probable jail time to having my case dismissed I'm happy to say the outcome of my case far surpassed my expectations and if ever I have a need again (which I hope I don't haha) I will not think twice about who can get the job done. Rickson is an excellent attorney that knows what,he is doing.If you Hire Rickson,listen to him and take heed, to what he says.He is there to fight for you in the court of law.
