Scott helped my fiancé remove his bench warrant for a very low price compared with every other attorney we found, and after 6 additional court dates he turned a 60 day work release into 500 h community service. His total prices were half of what most lawyers were quoting us at for the same outcome. Back in 2011 I made a mistake and luckily didn't hurt anyone. Scott worked with me and helped me navigate the maze that is the justice system in San Diego. With his help I was able to put this behind me and move forward with my life. I called Scott regarding a potential legal issue. I had dealt with Scott 2 years earlier for another legal issue, and he remembered who I was. We texted back and forth about my issue at 10:30pm. He spent the time to help me through a tough situation, and respected the relationship that we had established in the past. He is a straight shooter who distinguished himself from the other lawyers that I dealt with by being honest about expectations, fair about pricing, and understanding, not condescending. Although we all hope it never happens, it really makes me feel good knowing that I have someone like Scott in my corner if a legal issue arises.

Being my first (hopefully only) brush with the law, I didn't know much about lawyers, but compared to the couple others I talked to, Scott was a breath of fresh air. Scott was very helpful at my initial consultation. I walked into his office really nervous about my falsely filed restraining order case, as I have never had to defend myself in court. By the time I left his office I was a lot more comfortable about everything. Scott assured me that I didn't need a lawyer to assist me in court for my particular incident, and that I should be fine based on his observations. He shared lots of valuable information with me and seemed to be very knowlegable about my particular type of case. The best part about the consultation is that it was free! I can definitely respect a lawyer who is willing to lend a helping hand, and who is not in the business strictly for monetary reasons. You really get the sense that he wants to help you, and that he's not "in it for the money." That alone speaks volumes in this day and age. Scott is also very professional, and easy to get ahold of. He responds to phone calls and text messages almost instantaneously. I would highly recommend Scott to anybody looking for a criminal defense attorney. Scott Pactor is the best. He knows his way around a Federal Courtroom and interacts with the Judges professionally. He is always well prepared, and doesn't lie or waste time whether it is yours or the courts. His knowledge of law is astounding. I was indicted as part of the Mongols Motorcycle RICO conspiracy and was facing a possible life sentence in Federal Prison. He got me bail, which I had been promised wouldn't, and couldn't happen in my case. I remained out on bond while battling this case. I live in Ventura County, Scott in San Diego. He was quick to come up and meet with me monthly, and responded to any questions I or my family had quickly and thoroughly. In the end he got me the best deal humanly possible considering the circumstances. I believe if I had any other attorney I would not have gotten 46 months on a plea bargain. I owe this to Scott and his knowledge of Federal Court Procedure, Federal Law, and his superior courtroom demeanor. Being indicted in a RICO case turned my world upside down. Especially since my part had happened 3 years prior to my arrest and I'd made significant changes to my life for the better. Scott saw this, and helped show the court that in fact I didn't deserve to do 10 years, or even life in prison. He was patient with me and explained everything to me as it happened and basically did exactly what he told me he was going to do. He also helped me and my family through the worst time of our lives.
