Ms. Irmer and her legal team represented me before the California Medical Board (CMB). I was facing discipline by the CMB because I resigned under investigation at a hospital I practiced in another state. At the advice of my attorney in that state, he advised me to resign because Peer Review at thathospital was unfair and futile. That state restricted my license but then rescinded the restriction after I completed additional training. Despite the restriction in the other state being rescinded, CMB was going to take action and discipline me because of statutory requirements. Ms, Irmer and Kimberly Elkin guided me through the CMB investigation with a successful strategy in showing I had corrected the problem in the other state and was doing well in my current job. They made many calls to the CMB in my behalf and developed a good rapport with the Board. In the end the CMB decided to drop discipline against me. Any discipline against me would have resulted in termination from insurance plans and eventually my job. Ms. Irmer and her team defended me beyond expectations and saved my career.

I was so stressful when I received the letter from BRN for accusations that I didn’t do. I was 8 months pregnant and didn’t know what to do. It’s hard to put into words the gratitude I have for the whole Sunnen Law firm. They assisted me during a very stressful and dark point in my life but every time I called, showed up to the office, or went to court they always were cheerful, helpful, and most of all they listened to me.
