This outstanding Trust Lawyer worked with our family to close our Grandmother’s Generation skipping trust when our Father passed away In 2021. Ruth skillfully guided me through location of documents for these 2 trusts. Her knowledge and ability to negotiate with an investment firm regard partnership percentages for 7 heirs was amazing. Her kind manner resulted in timely compliance with multiple signatures from all 7 heirs even though some traveled outside the United States and within the United States. Both Trusts were amazingly closed in one year. All 7 of us agree we wished we knew about Ruth in 2016 when there was a messy prolonged settlement of our cousins estate by a trust company. My wife and I recently bought a condo in Mira Mesa. We were leasing the condo from the owner for over a year. One day, the owner told us that she was moving out of CA, and hence, she was selling the condo, so she was giving us our 30 days notice to leave, or an option to buy. Since my wife and I were already considering buying, we started dealing directly with the purchase as a FSBO. It was our first time buying real estate, so we had tons of questions, we didn't understand how the escrow process worked, neither our rights as tenants of the soon to be sold property. So we decided to look for a real-estate attorney. After speaking with Ruth, both my wife and I felt very confident that she understood our needs, so we hired her, and that was one of the best decisions we took during our purchase. From the first call, Ruth was very patient, gave us very clear advise on how to proceed in our situation. Once hired, she immediately went over our purchase agreement, she was very thorough, pointed at errors and gave recommendations. On top of it, she had an amazing response time. A lot of people who have dealt with the escrow process have told us that you end up signing a lot of documents, that you don't have any idea what they meant. We didn't feel that way. Whatever document we sent to Ruth, she explained carefully what it was for, and gave recommendations on how to fill it out. She also guided us over what documents we had to ask the owner, the agents, escrow officer, etc. The purchase of the condo was finally successful, and we look forward to work with Ruth on our will. It goes without saying that we highly recommend her.
