We hired Jennifer to handle our change of status after getting married, having previously hired a different lawyer to handle our fiance visa petition. The difference between the lawyers was night and day. Working with Jennifer was stress-free and we were given clarity on everything about the case throughout the process. We decided to hire Jennifer after interviewing six other immigration lawyers with good reviews because we could tell she was detail orientated, up-to-date on current legislature, communicated very clearly and was conscientious. We can say we found this to be true throughout the process. She is very professional and passionate about the work she does. Previously, we had an immigration lawyer who 'sold' us on his services before passing our case onto his associates. His associates did a bad job on communication, keeping up with current law and gave us the impression they didn't really care about our case. They took a long time to do everything and gave us many excuses rather than explanations. The lawyer took no responsibility for his associates and it was difficult to understand what was happening on their end. The experience with Jennifer's office was completely different. Our forms were filled in perfectly with no mistakes and she did a fantastic job preparing our documents and evidence. Her office works very quickly and Jennifer keeps up-to-date with changing legislature even during the particularly difficult times of the pandemic when things are constantly changing. She uses an online portal which keeps everything about our case organised allowing us to access all of our documents. Our application was concise but also very detailed, highlighting relevant legislature for the immigration office. A note for any of those with military spouses - Jennifer is especially good at dealing with these cases and is very knowledgeable on the impact of active military duty on immigration law. We 100% recommend Jennifer and feel that the work she and her office performed was worth every cent!
