I got sue by my ex, and Ryan help me with my case. Ryan is an honest lawyer, (can say that too honest), he know the law. But he pressure me too much to to give favor to other party. He suggest me to offer high to close the deal, but I refuse and offer much less and the other party accept. Ryan is not very good listener, he did not perform my request as I first, so we cannot win earlier and cost me about 20k more in fee. In the knowledge of law, Ryan should have 5 stars, but his conscientious and listening are even less than 3 stars (may be because I am Asian and my English is not very good). I may give Ryan 4 stars for his service, but the billing department of this firm is terrible, they charge me but not put it in the book. Be aware of the billing department of this firm.

I just want to say I would definitely recommend cage and miles to help with your family law issues. Their team is so amazing and helpful and on top of everything that needs to be. I definitely want to think Alaina Lynch for dealing with my custody case with my daughter. She will FIGHT for what is RIGHT. She was awesome!!! I will definitely be sticking with this team if ever needed to be. ❤️❤️❤️ I highly highly recommend them!!!!!!!

Going through the family court system has been the most stressful thing in my life I've ever had to deal with. Although i currently disagree with the family court system and think it needs to be reformed. Especially when I was going up against an abusive high conflict mother with a drug addiction whom I share a child with. Christina Alkire at Cage and Miles gave me the best possible outcome I could've asked for. At first I had sole legal and physical custody with a 2 year permanent restraining order. Which I was extremely pleased with. A year later my child's mother took me back to court claiming she was a changed person and deserved more time and overnight visitations with our son. I was forced to re-retain Christina Alkire again. This time I winded up with joint legal custody but still have sole physical custody of our son. Although I disagree with the family court system and don't think an abusive mother with a high conflict personality disorder and a drug addiction should have over night visitations with a toddler. I got the best possible outcome and did my best to protect him in an extremely difficult situation. If you are looking for the best look no further than Cage and Miles. They work as a team and I know they did their best for me.

I hired Cage and Miles and they assigned my case to John Sylvester who charged $9,159 for his incompetent work. His extremely high hourly rate is not reflected in his skill level. In court, he does not have a strong presence as he lacks quick rebuttals and strong arguments. Not only did he not make any progress on my case, he actually delayed it and set it back. There was a lot of cleanup I had to do. Since he ran through my retainer so quickly with his over-priced and inefficient use of time, I requested that he just represent me on a limited scope. He agreed, but then later reneged without any reasoning. We had an attorney fees request pending and he refused to supply a Cueva Declaration which would have only taken him about 20 minutes to write. I offered to pay him, but he still refused after a month of ignoring my urgent request. John will just run through your retainer with long-winded phone calls where he unnecessarily repeats himself and then, when it comes to court appearances, he looks like a weakling stumbling for words.

Jillian was incredibly helpful and thorough. She always responded quickly and helped me make informed decisions. I felt cared for and supported through the entire process. It is so helpful to have an outside perspective that is not emotionally based. I got wise counsel and excellent representation.
