When my wife, a co-trustee on our trust, passed away, and I notified Preston Estate Planning of the event, they were very responsive in drafting the documents necessary to delete her as trustee and add our son. They made sure all details were addressed so that the trust was protected.

John Preston and his team are exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable in the area of Family Trusts and Estate Planning, which (for non-lawyer types like ourselves) can be a confusing and complex path to navigate. John explained many Family Trust areas and issues to us in plain language, patiently answered many questions, so we could make easier decisions. His family estate practice holds informative monthly seminars for his clients. Also, upon my request, John made a presentation via zoom to a (friends, women’s) financial group that I am a part of. It was great and very enlightening to all of us. We phoned Preston on a good recommendation from a family member and for a much needed revision to our existing Trust. There were areas within our trust re: financial protections that were not included in the old trust, and that we did not know of before. Preston’s service fees were very competitive and on the moderate-low side - for how comprehensive the firm’s service is. Any delays to finalization were definitely on our side (it’s a serious matter that tends to be put off, a lot, I see now from first hand experience). John Preston and his team, assistants, schedulers were completely responsive and timely and did not pressure us. Most sincerely. A Family Trust for any real estate holdings, physical, financial holdings and accounts that one has is extremely important, we’ve learned through the years. Yes, the “will” and advance directives were included in the cost and process. My husband and I (and my family members) highly recommend John Preston, Attorney and his team.

It was a little difficult for me in the beginning to do business like this over Zoom. I would have preferred to meet in person, but all my needs were met; communication via email was good; and phone calls were returned in a timely manner. Final documents were signed in the office using the in house notary who was very professional and efficient. My experience was necessary and comforting to know it was done with knowledgable professionals who worked in my best interest. I highly recommend Preston Estate Planning.
