Mr. Ripley represented me and took the time and extra effort to understand my case and gather information. He met with me several times to ensure he had all the facts. He took the time to collaborate and follow through with everything he said he would do. When he received documents the afternoon before we were to appear in court he spent several hours reviewing this information. This went into the late evening. He was dedicated and committed to ensuring that all of my questions were answered and all of the information was accurate. He took the time to walk me through every step of the process and made himself available for questions. I am very grateful for his services and professionalism.

I contacted the office of Michael Ripley based on all the peer reviews I had read. Now I know firsthand, where the five stars come from. Above and beyond is the simple two words to convey the level of work this office, Nelia Castro, Jennifer Kiss and Becky, have done to settle my 2nd lien and modify my first with Wells Fargo, jumbo loan.
I had initally hired the staff to help me modify my first but out of the blue the 2nd lien, returned after over 5 years of no contact. Their last information saying they had written off the loan. However, 2nd liens can come back and will, once you have some equity. I would strongly encourage anyone, not to wait, because the 2nd started foreclosure as soon as the equity was enough that they would get something out of us.
Nelia can be direct when she needs to be but she, Jennifer and Becky are so compassionate. Like a light at the end of a very very long dark tunnel. Listen to them! This level of work takes a considerable amount of time and knowhow and the time and knowledge more than outweighs the compensation. They are a law firm and will need to be compensated as such so they can stay in business and have a life themselves.
Going into this, you need to realize that it is ultimately the homeowners creation of their situation at some point along the way and be willing to accept this, fully. That will be the only way you will get through this. Look at the big picture and do not get caught up in the minutia of the cost, interest rate, submission of documents and trust this law firm will give you an honest view of the situation, whether you like it or not.
We had to borrow, sell, rent a room to make this happen but we were comitted to keeping our home. The staff at Michael Ripley law stuck with us for a long time, all the long way through. I hope this office is able to stay in business. Homeowners desperately need their help and guidance because there is just no one else to turn to.
If you are in our shoes, give a call. Get that consultation. Even if you jumped through the hoops, got all the docs in on time, had the right income, it is still up to the investor to make the final decision and there is no one that has control over that but them, not us, not the law office. If you are reading this, you probably sit where we did over a year ago. It was our 2nd mod, the first 4 years ago. It is a difficult process but with the help of this office it will give you insight to making the best decisions. Good luck!

Like so many people these days, we had some financial issues. Instead of losing our home, we decided to engage in a loan -modification program with our mortgage company. The mortgage company told us in order to qualify for the program we must stop paying the mortgage. Even though this made us uncomfortable, we blindly followed their advice. This turned out to be a HUGE mistake. We took it upon ourselves to work directly with the mortgage company. It was our worst nightmare. We got the run around. They were constantly losing our paperwork and needed the same information over and over. After this went on for about 9-10 months, we received a notice in the mail that our house was in foreclosure!!! We were completely beside ourselves. The mortgage company was going to take our home. We were so upset. Then a friend suggested that we talk to the Law Offices of Michael Ripley. This was the best advice ever given. We met with the team for an initial consult and decided immediately to hire them to represent us. They stopped the foreclosure process and got the loan modification process on track. We really believe that our loan modification case was one of the most challenging. During the process the mortgage company sold our loan to an new company. However, regardless of all of the obstacles we encountered during the process, Michael Ripley's team were able to overcome them. In September of 2014, we received a loan modification agreement. Our trial was for 6 months. Then in April of 2015 our trial loan was converted in a regular mortgage agreement.
We are so grateful for all the team did to save our home. If you are reading this and are considering a loan modification or are currently working with your mortgage company on a loan modification, we suggest you contact the Law Offices of Michael Ripley. There are so many unknown factors that are involved in how a mortgage company approves a loan modification. If we had not hired the Law Offices of Michael Ripley, we would have lots our home.

After receiving several threatening letters from attorneys regarding money owed for HOA fees and a property (reverse mortgaged) as part of my father's estate, Mike helped show me how to disclaim interest in the property and therefore not be subjected to all these fees. He crafted a letter that I sent to the respective attorneys and I finally stopped getting the harassing and threatening letters.

Mr. Ripley was recommended to me by a friend of mine. I could not have asked for better representation. The first case I was involved with, I was sued by my former employer shortly after starting my own business. It was a jury trial that was long and drawn out, but we won the case!
The second time I used Mr. Ripley was on a house that I purchased. After the deal was done I had new carpet installed and come to find out the slab was severely cracked and the seller did not disclose it. We proved the seller knew about it and won the case again! I would recommend Mr. Ripley to anyone and will definitely use him in the future. Both cases had a HUGE impact on my life and I am forever grateful.

I am excited to recommend Mike Ripley and his outstanding team. I had a series of challenges with both my 1st and 2nd mortgages. Mike and his team were extremely knowledgeable on the procedures to remedy the case. It was not an easy task yet they worked diligently for me and did not give up when we received multiple denials. The process was tedious and I would have been discouraged without their kind words and excellent attention to detail. They should get a medal for everything they dealt with for me. I am grateful beyond words to them. They saved me!
