Like many Veterans, I filed a claim with the VA for a host of illnesses, to include two bouts of kidney cancer, which resulted in the removal of half of my right kidney and complete removal of my left. As a result, I have been on daily dialysis for the past two + years. After receiving the VA rejection letter, I spoke with an old Air Force buddy and close friend who several years ago also filed and was rejected. He told me that after fighting the VA for nearly five years, he reached out to Attorney Eagle. Attorney Eagle took his case and began the appeal process which resulted in a 100 % service connected ruling from the VA. I put off calling her and my buddy kept pestering me to pick up the phone and to give her a call. Finally, I quit stalling and gave her a call. I knew within the first minute of speaking with her that she was a fighter and that her mission in life is helping Veterans like my buddy and I to get the benefits we deserved. We talked for a good 30 minutes and then I heard her say “You have a case “. That’s all I needed to hear. She went right to work on my appeal and within a reasonable amount of time, I got the call that the VA had reviewed my appeal and I was rated 100 percent service connected disabled. I could hear in her voice how excited she was to be able to tell me that. So, if you are looking for someone to help you appeal the VA denial of your claim, you should look no further than Attorney Katrina Eagle! If she takes your case, she will work her heart out to get you the benefits you have earned and deserve. She will stay in touch with you every step of the way and will always respond to your calls or email. She is simply an amazing Attorney and a real champion for Veterans and their families. Give her a call - you won’t be disappointed!

I served in United States Air Force from 1970 – 1974. I was stationed at Anderson Air Force Base in Guam from 1971-1973, as fuel specialist. During that time, I was exposed to many different toxic chemicals including Agent Orange. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 and then two years later with thyroid cancer, the residual effects dramatically affected not only me but my family. After speaking with a representative for the Missouri Veterans Commission, I submitted a claim for exposure to Agent Orange. That claim was immediately denied. After this denial, the representative suggested I seek legal representation and was given the name of Katrina Eagle, Esq. Veterans Law Attorney. Little did I know then the dedication, tenacity and compassion this woman would show me for the next ten years! Over the course of the last ten years, numerous denials, frustrations and moments of utter disappointment and lack of the energy to continue this fight occurred, however Katrina was always there never wavering in her support and encouragement to not give up the fight. The Board of Veterans Affairs (BVA) denied our claims several times, the cases were then submitted to the US Courts of Appeals not once but twice and both times the Courts sent them back to the BVA for review. Thanks to Katrina and Jim Radogna’s continued support, knowledge and empathy for me, I am now at 100% disability. Never could I have imagined this outcome and will forever be thankful for their continuous support and encouragement to never give up the fight!

My Air Force veteran husband was in the hospital for eight months with an acute leukemia when we heard about Katrina. She took his case and worked through all the red tape and an appeal to get him into the VA and ultimately a settlement. I too am an attorney, but could not have managed this process without her. Be prepared, its a long process, lots of "hurry up & wait", but if you can produce the info she needs to make your case, she knows the system!

It is an absolute privilege to recommend Katrina Eagle. I was stationed at Camp LeJeune in 1973-1974 and I drank and bathed in the contaminated water along with my fellow marines. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. I filed a VA claim, and it was denied despite VA having it on their list of Camp LeJeune conditions for which they would provide no cost medical care. Our VA service commission counselor said we had a strong case, should appeal, and recommended that we speak with Katrina Eagle. Upon our first conversation with her we felt at ease and secure in her solid expertise and genuine care. She had a clear plan for how she would gather the information needed as well as the process to pursue the appeal. Amongst the various actions she took was to obtain a medical expert opinion. When we read the experts opinion we nearly wept in gratitude. Katrina knows precisely how to gather the evidence needed and prepare the case. We felt calm during the process knowing she sincerely had our best interests at heart. She succeeded in obtaining a 100% total and permanent disability, which was the absolute righteous outcome. We would not have been successful on our own. We needed someone who has experience with the system and know how to work within the VA system. She would often explain why we needed to approach something a certain way. At every turn she was skilled, knowledgeable, prepared, precise, as well as kind, thoughtful and respectful. You could feel her compassion for our situation and the injustice. Listening to her you are left with no question as to her absolute commitment to veterans. Katrina is the best of the best and a profound blessing in our lives. If you allow Katrina Eagle help to resolve your VA problem, you will thank yourself later. Don

Katrina was highly recommended by our VA counselor, so I contacted her to help us through a disability claim. From the start, she struck me as extremely competent and organized. She always returned emails and phone calls promptly and kept me up to date on the case. She succeeded beyond all expectations, and then went further and got us more benefits. I rarely give five stars to anything, but I have no hesitation giving them to Katrina. With a plus!

I am a Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veteran. I filed my claim, and was approved, at 100% P&T. For that, I had another attorney as my representative, but she had nothing to do with my case... more on that, to come. Something did not sit right with me, about the effective date of my claim. I questioned my attorney, and she said, since I was rated 100%, there was nothing to be done... not true. I learned of Katrina Eagle & Jim Radogna through the BWNVVA... I knew they were hard-working attorneys, who put the veteran first. I contacted Katrina, and asked her to review my case. She said "Sure thing", but said I needed to make her my representative. I said no problem... not quite true. My old attorney did not want to release me... she said I was not due anything, but she would not release me. That led me to tell Katrina about the issue. She advised me as to how to proceed.. It was a long, hard-fought issue, but in the end, my old attorney released me... with a nasty letter that said I was not ever going to get any more benefits, anyway... again, wrong answer. As soon as I was released, I made Katrina my VA representative. She and Jim jumped right on the case, and she said that it looked like VA had assigned the wrong effective date to my case... the old attorney would not even review the case. So, Katrina & Jim filed a Clear Unmistakable Error (CUE) with VA. About 4 months later, VA sent me another $13,000.., WOW!! I was stunned. Both Katrina & Jim were very happy for me. That was not the end, though. Ticked off that my old attorney had put me in the situation, she asked my permission to sent her a letter expressing her displeasure about the way that she had handled my case. She was exceptionally professional. If you are in need of an experienced legal team, who will go to work for you, and fight for your benefits, you can do no better, than The Law Office of Katrina Eagle.

As a Vietnam vet, and after the usual denial of my claim, I hired Katrina and her firm to take up the fight for me. A private individual has very little chance against the V.A. in fighting a denial claim . Katrina took the fight straight to then, opened doors the V.A. had never opened and fought to get the results I needed. Katrina, Eagle Law , is truly a Veteran"s best friend and advocate in every respect. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune in the 1950’s. I drank and showered in the toxic water there for two years. As a result I developed 3 cancers linked to the chemicals in that water. I applied for VA disability benefits but was quickly denied, despite the fact that the VA admitted such cancers were linked to the Lejeune water. I appealed and was denied again. I was 81 years old at the time and didn’t have the energy to fight the VA any longer. As a last resort before giving up I googled up local attorneys in San Diego and chose one, namely Katrina Eagle. I had no idea at that time that I chose the best attorney in the country specializing in VA issues. Within a year and a half Katrina and her husband Jim worked diligently and tirelessly on my behalf, relieving me of the stress of dealing with a fettered VA bureaucracy. She appealed my case and got me rated at 100% for full compensation, which included tens of thousands of dollars in retroactive benefits. I can’t be more appreciative of Katrina and Jim. I highly recommend them to any veteran needing help with the VA to obtain the benefits they deserve and earned. My children and I thank you Katrina and Jim, God bless you both. Bill Bartsch

As a Vietnam Veteran I highly recommend Katrina Eagle to any veteran who needs an experienced attorney with their disability appeal. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease due to repeated exposure to toxins while serving in the US Navy. When my initial claim was disproved, I found Katrina. I cannot say enough good things about Katrina, unlike most law firms she truly cares about her clients and works tirelessly for them. She is very professional, punctual, straight to the point. Whenever I had a question, she was very prompt on getting back to me. She guided me through the process and explained in detail what steps she intended to take. In addition, her empathy and compassion to the veterans and their families is unparalleled. She is a true veteran advocate and will fight for what is right for the benefits that are deserved. I know that I would not want anyone other than Katrina to represent me, she was successful in getting my appeal granted. She is a true godsend for veterans. Both my wife and I will be forever grateful to her.

After speaking with numerous law firms who purported to “help veterans,” not one would take my case. Then a friend referred me to Katrina Eagle. Attorney Katrina Eagle demonstrated profound care and empathy for my case at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Attorney Eagle displayed incredible legal expertise in VA law as well as passion for helping veterans whose requests for benefits and treatment for injuries suffered in combat have been denied by the VA. When the VA denies a valid claim, or worse, grants benefits and then 6 months later reverses its decision for no apparent reason, veterans who fought at the sharp end of the spear feel angry, hurt, betrayed and confused. As enlisted infantry in Afghanistan, I had dealt with the Taliban up close, but was unprepared to cope with a VA that rather than support me, caused me more stress than a firefight with ISIS. Attorney Eagle provides a caring ear even as she represents veterans’ interests before the VA with a clear-headed and straightforward approach to the law. Katrina’s knowledge of the VA and her many contacts throughout the country make her singularly qualified to represent veterans. Attorney Katrina Eagle changed my life. She took my case pro bono without even meeting me, and began to achieve results almost immediately. While my case took nearly four years to resolve, she never stopped fighting (even when I was ready to give up) and achieved a positive outcome on all fronts. I recommend Attorney Eagle without reservation to any veteran who needs help getting the VA to do the right thing. Former Infantry Sergeant, U.S. Army)

We had been denied by the VA many times for my father's claim. We were on the verge of giving up. When we contacted Katrina she got back to us immediately, was honest and told us things we could do on our own to try to get the claim approved before officially hiring her. When we were still denied, we hired Katrina. She was in constant contact with us, kept us informed every step of the way. When we had questions she got back to us in a matter of hours. In the end she was successful in getting our claim approved and we could not be more grateful. She is a tireless advocate for veterans and we are so grateful for her!!!
