DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!! He was paid in full and NEVER filed my response to my ex filing for divorce, even though I signed in his office a whole year prior. Now it's been 2 years into the process working together and he still hasn't filed?!?! Not only was that a huge fail - He can't mediate to save his life. If you are at an impasse in your divorce, he does not posses the tools to help you through it. We stopped working with him and I hired an attorney who caught it immediately on the first phone consult. When I reached out Scott about it he ignored my question and told me, he has a system that works well and has many happy clients. (What does that have to do with him not performing the work he was paid for?) Total deflection. An entire 2 years working with this man through the divorce process for nothing. Not only money wasted but time that I can't get back. I'm filing a complaint with the SDCBA, State Bar of California and filing a fee of dispute. $6k-$7k down the drain to accomplish nothing!

In a highly emotional and tense environment, Scott provided an environment where he supported the process by keeping us focused on the issues. Specifically, what I appreciated about Scott's approach was that he would explain what would typically happen in court, what would be arguable in court, what typically happens in mediation, and what were standard topics to be negotiated in mediation. Several times, we were close to moving away from mediation and going to court, which would have been an extreme waste of money in our case. Scott continuously tried to keep it on track to close out the process. I strongly recommend Scott as a mediator.
