I was run over by a car in December of 2022. My injuries were serious. My wife contacted Mark Fong at this firm based on friends’ advice from prior experience. My case lasted for over two years. Mark was kind, thorough, and communicative throughout. His assistant, Erica Sullivan, was also considerate, helpful, and prompt. Without revealing details, my family and I are completely pleased and satisfied with the outcome. Nothing can put things back the way they were. But Mark, his firm, and those assisting him on this case were excellent. I feel lucky to know them and consider them competent, serious, and honest. I have an extremely well documented and legitimate employment matter that I need representation for. I showed this place the wrongful termination message evidence and after that they asked for all of the other messages which I submitted in a drop box, and then they decided to not take on the case. I understand not taking on cases that are not well documented, but this is a clear cut case with strong evidence. I felt that Sean, and Christine just didn't want to do any of the work. If you are looking for representation steer clear of this place.It is frustrating because I am dealing with an extremely illegal matter that they just brushed off. I personally would not trust the other reviews. Keep searching.

Minami Tamaki helped me to carry the whole process for adjustment of status (Green card) from beginning to end. It was a successful case, I got my green card, I knew at all times what was the next step. The coordination among the lawyers is palpable through email communications. Very professional service. Years after receiving my green card I needed help locating some papers I lost and they kindly help me out to get copies they had in the archive. I'm super grateful and I would highly recommend this firm!

As a fellow Asian, American lawyer practicing in the bay area, it pains me to write this experience. Manami Tamaki is generally a well regarded firm, but I’m compelled to write this review because of my inexcusably poor experience with Lisa Mak, who I hired for a personal matter and wasted thousands of dollars with for poor client services which included inflated billing (she would bill an hour for 15 minutes, claiming she had to prep for the call, when she showed up unprepared anyway). When I noticed I was charged $125 for her to send me a Docusign for my retainer agreement with the firm, i also pushed back. she was my lawyer for all of 2 1/2 weeks and somehow managed to bill thousands across 4-5 emails and 1-2 of calls. Lawyers like Lisa are why lawyers are still regarded as dishonest and untrustworthy.

The wonderful people at Minami Tamaki went far and above to help me achieve my legal needs, with diligent and straight-forward communications through the entire process. They filled in all the blanks, gave great advice and pushed the process through much quicker that I originally hoped. If you have a need for legal services that they handle, you will not go wrong going with MT! It was a joy to be able to hand the whole situation over to them and let them see it through to a wonderful conclusion. After suffering a terrible accident, a friend referred me to Mark Fong and his firm and I must say it was the best referral I could have received. Dealing with the repercussion of the accident was very tough but the help and guidance I received from Mark made the process of filing a claim with the insurance company much easier. Mark and his team guided me through every step of the way and they were always available to answer any questions. I could not have had better representation than Mark and his team. I was referred to this law firm after a very bad auto accident that was not my fault. Although my case did not go to trial, I was thoroughly impressed with how the firm handled my case. It is a torture to work with Minami Tamaki b/c of their slow response and empty promises. It took 3 times longer to do the same work compared with an average immigration agency. You have to be prepared to push them every day to keep your stuff in track. Stay away from minami Tamaki if you need timely service

Great lawyers. When I got hit by a car and had to have surgery, they handled all the details of getting compensated (insurance, lawsuit, etcetera) and did a fantastic job. Highly responsive, very professional, good outcome.
