Terrible lawyer. Does not follow the law and is horribly sloppy. Contradict himself in legal filings and always looses in court. Can’t hit a deadline and misspelled clients name. Avoid at all costs

Tried to Pro Bono for months in a divorce and was getting nothing accomplished in court, missing out on time with my children, and getting constantly harassed by the other parties attorney for this and that and slowly getting more and more in debt. From my first phone call with James he was upfront and came up with a game plan. From then on he ended the constant emails from the other party, got me almost 50 50 with overnights that I hadn't had in almost a year, spousal and child support reduced dramatically and other huge factors that I had been dealing with. He was the best decision I've ever made. He's professional and reliable weather it be phone calls, emails and even texts. He has a plan and any updates or other ideas he lets you know. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANYONE BETTER TO REPRESENT YOU. I can't thank him enough.

Promises everything....delivers nothing! Does not respond to emails, text messages or phone calls. Tries to brush off major issues and has zero follow through. Does not contact you until the day of the court hearing and comes ill prepared. Should NOT be hired in child custody situations!

Mr. Steinle spoke to me as a human being, but his actions and time management were highly disappointing. He not only took up to two weeks to respond to actions he said would take three days, he also failed to even file some paperwork, and ultimately went M.I.A. When my next lawyer contacted him to transfer my file, he responded within 15 minutes. In hindsight, my new lawyer did three times the work Mr. Steinle did with the same amount from the retainer, and was very responsive and confidence-inspiring. Confidence is not something Mr. Steinle embodies. Don't waste your money.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t respond to his clients.. it’s worrisome and my case has been going on for over 1 year. Haven’t been able to get a hold of him for 6 months..

I have never seen a professional who simply ignores his clients. James does. He doesn't respond to phone calls and emails for weeks and he does it over and over again. It is taking forever to close on an issue that he said would be done quickly if we followed his advice....

James Steinle is a very good lawyer. He helped me receive a settlement offer from 2 insurance companies in just a few short months. I had been using a large firm prior to switching to James that had cost me thousands of dollars and was getting nowhere quickly. My case had been passed from attorney to attorney in the firm, and I was very frustrated. I decided to change firms completely and hire James. I knew immediately I had made the right decision. James was very knowledgable and always well prepared and got my case settled for me. Should I ever need an attorney again, James will be the first one I call.

James was forthright from the beginning about my chances and because of his honesty, I decided to move forward with my case which was decided in my favor and closed same day. I went through a three-year, contentious divorce. I was constantly being served with requests for documentation, etc. that had been filed many times before. I was going broke and getting no closer to closure. That is, until I switched to James Steinle. James took a very serious, professional approach to my situation. I contracted James for two interrelated civil cases in 2013 (one as defendant, one as plaintiff). In both cases James performed amazingly and we prevailed in both (the first through court ordered dismissal and the second through a highly beneficial settlement just before trial). I will definitely be using James' services in the future for the following reasons: a) Tactically he is very sharp and understands my needs and goals. He is able to use his wealth of experience to craft a road map for case success. b) James has an excellent court presence and handles himself with dignity and class. In our first case (which went to trial), James had an amazing style and presence in court and was able to have the case dismissed before we even put on our defense. I have pretty high standards and James was nothing short of amazing in his presentation, respectful communication with the judge, and probing questions to the plaintiff's witnesses. c) James is an all-around fun guy to be around and, if I have to spend months and risk money on an attorney, I'd prefer it be him. :) In short, I am very satisfied with the services that I received from James. In both of my cases, one of my main sources of confidence was in knowing that my attorney was head-and-shoulders above those on the other side.

I met lawyer James Steinle about three years ago. When we talked, I know that he is a very good lawyer. I got into a divorce last year and James was my represent lawyer. It was a complicated case but he handled it very well and smoothly which kept me from a lot of headache, stressful and also saved me a lot of time and money !
