Great lawyer- knowledgeable, personable, and caring.

I worked with Abby O'Flaherty to advise me for my divorce which was in theory being mediated. I was divorcing a lawyer. Mediation only worked for so long. Her advice was solid the entire time. She was a great balance of understanding when my arguments were on principle or on legal details and never judged either way. She knows what is credible in court, what is negotiable and what is simply up to the client. We dealt with getting information dumped on us and threats of repercussions and she didn't flinch at a single number or back down on what was in my best interest. It was a big boost of confidence to know she had my back. She was also clear about what is opinion and what is legal reality. In the end, she had to step in to speak with my ex's lawyer after advising me not to cave in to demands. She got the job done. I recommend her without hesitation. Make sure you have another person in the firm to speak to about scheduling to make that go smoothly.
