I hired Mr. Passaglia for two different criminal matters, one in Alameda County and the other in San Mateo County. He negotiated one of the matters to a result I was very happy with. The other matter was set for a jury trial but the D.A. dismissed on the morning of trial.
I give him the ultimate rating. He was always available, really knew his way around the Courtroom, and most importantly got the result that saved my job.

At first when I could not post bail JP visited me in jail a lot, kept me sane. Then he got my bail lowered at a bail hearing and I eventually posted.
Throughout my case he always kept me in the loop and invited me over to his office in SF to review evidence. We ended up settling for something I was very happy with.
JPP is a hard working good guy.

Had a motorcycle accident a year ago, was overwhelmed with the amount of work and hassle it would take to deal with my claim and get the medical issues sorted out between the insurance companies. John was referred to me and it was the best decision I made. He assured me he would take great care of the situation and take care of everything on his end, no need to be stressed with countless calls and emails to deal with; I was able to access him at anytime as well. He was very successful and I was very pleased with the outcome of the claim. He was extremely knowledgable, professional, and resilient dealing with the other parties involved. Highly recommend Mr. Passaglia he will not let you down!

When you need the best, go with the best. Facing three charges and an uphill battle, trial was certain. And no better member to have on the criminal defense team than Mr. Passaglia. Trial ended in a hung jury on all three of the charges. And after receiving another offer from the district attorney, one that they would be sure we would take. It was decided to refuse any offer and prepare for the second trial. Upon readiness for round two, the state dropped all charges. This was a move clearly based on a direct reflection of John P. Passaglia's dedication, motivation, and ability to perform on a level far superior than that of the prosecution. PC 69. PC 243(b). PC 148(a)

I had an incident where we were willing to plea for a particular charge, but otherwise force trial. The prosecution refused to give us what we wanted, despite the judge asking them to reconsider. We went to trial and it was successful! Mr. Passaglia communicated with me throughout the case, met and conferred with my parents at my request, and I have since had a friend hire him with their legal troubles. He is a straight shooter that has that court room skill you cannot teach.
