They lied they said they can help a tenant facing eviction then called me and said they can't help me.

The amount of knowledge held in this firm is staggering, and should have unethical landlords across the city quaking in their boots more vigorously than they twirl their moustaches. Just having a firm like this operating in San Francisco surely disincentivizes landlord malfeasance, but of course there are plenty of instances in which renters have to deal with issues they'd be unprepared for without expert guidance. Joseph & his team have always been extremely efficient as well as crystal clear and realistic in conveying steps I as a renter might take in dealing with a potentially tricky situation. They've helped friends out of jams much worse than mine, too. I always recommend them to anyone I know locally who is experiencing quandaries related to their rental housing situation.

He took the time to outline several legal paths that I could pursue to mitigate my problem, and he made it clear which ones were higher priority than others in terms of protecting myself (and others) in what could have become a very volatile legal matter. He gave solid advice in a manner that was clear, and he followed up several times to make sure my needs were taken care of and the matter resolved. After literally begging for help given the severity of my issue, they still declined to assist me. The complete lack of compassion is disheartening especially given me health issues. I spent an inordinate amount of time providing information to the law firm for a week. Instead of telling me during the intake meeting that they're not able to take my case, they strung me along for a week before declining. The attorney that they referred me to, who is a former employee, was condescending and also declined to assist me after expressing my issues. Again, instead of expressing a lack of capacity from the get go I was strung along.
