PhD candidate, EB1-A Green Card APPROVED Elham is my sister and she worked on my case tirelessly to get it approved. Previously, I was wrongly told by many that PhD students, prior to graduation, are not eligible to apply for the EB1-A category. I was told that my case is fine for NIW but not for EB1-A. However, Elham reviewed my CV thoroughly and believed my case was qualified for EB1-A. So, she filed both NIW and EB1-A with premium processing which got approved in 2 weeks.
