Richard Alexander listened to me, understood my pain and my anger. Dick took care of me like a brother because that is the kind of man he is. That makes him the ultimate advocate. Over my 20 years as a Superior Court judge, I have seen hundreds of lawyers in action and there are only a handful that have the heart you want to represent you. Dick is in that category. We were t-boned on 101, by a kid who lost control of his Jeep. While that was quite straightforward, and we were were both admitted to emergency care for broken ribs and lacerations, one of us contracted Clostridium difficile (a virulent and very resistant intestinal bacteria) that is very hard to get, except in a hospital. Richard went far and wide in locating and consulting experts in the transmission of c. diff, and went far beyond the any reasonable expectations to find the expert physicians needed to make the case of the infection occurring in the hospital. He listens closely and fully understands all the relevant factors in a case. He is then a bulldog in relentless pursuit of the facts and evidence based on that understanding. He has my great respect and admiration.
