Council Bisted took over my very complicated case to stop my ex from continuously filing false contempt charges against me. Prior to Mr. Bisted taking over my case my ex was actually escorted out of the SJ court house as he pointed his finger at me and exclaimed how he was going to have me 'thrown in jail.' Then came the Contempt court filings from him. Morris was recommended by two other SJ Court attorneys who said he was one of few in the area with the experience, knowledge and expertise to be able to take over my case and work with my ex who is a diagnosed narcissistic sociopath. Morris reviewed thousands of documents on the past four years of my case which was still unsettled regarding issues involving children/financial/property/retirement/ and now the contempt hearings ! He was able to review and summaries the case in 2 weeks!!!!! Mr. Bisted was only hired to address the Contempt cases but he quickly saw the long history of Domestic Violence and insisted on filing a DVRO too. I was too scared of my ex and his sociopathic tendencies to do that in the past, although, I had always explained what I and the children went through to the court representatives and therapists, but Morris took the situation by the reins and got me through it. It was so liberating to see justice served in a place where a lawyer once told me.....'you came to the wrong place searching for justice.' Morris continues to work hard on all aspects of my case. He was able to bring most areas to a close. He is very well integrated in the Santa Clara County Court system and is very consistent, persistent, methodical.....and gets the job done regardless of the obstacles. Mr. Bisted was hired as a mediator in early 2011 by my ex wife and me for a hopefully peaceful MSA as I have given up all of our community assets of about $2 M. As a mediator, he failed to advise my ex wife to accept my generous comprise. Instead he fueled her greed to ask for more unreasonable supports and dragged the case forever. I met Mr. Bisted on court twice trying to reach an agreement without being represented. However, he lied each time in front of the judge by saying he'd draft an agreement that should be fair and signed by the parties by the next court date on December 13, 2012 and I wouldn't need to appear on court if I trusted him. Then I received a notice from court saying I failed to appear and the case could be dismissed if I fail again on next court date. I even had to hire another true mediator, Mr. Stan Bartelmie, who practices across the street to deal with him. However, Mr. Bisted continued to be cold blooded and ignored many requests from Mr. Bartelmie. To make a long story short, a very unfair agreement was reached between my ex wife and me by which I had to pay her $3100 per month for C/S and S/S, and 100% of children's medical/dental, etc. My mediator told me that was very unreasonable and would not be ordered by court. Two months later the stipulated judgment was returned for many reasons-messed up dates and omitted mandatory language, etc. Mr. Bisted should have felt shamed as a law practitioner. Who knows he lacks of heart or knowledge? I finally asked Mr. Bartelmie for a referral of a trial lawyer and hired Nathalie Daprile law firm. Ms. Nicole Myers who started the process in June 2013 and closed the case by the end of 2013. Mr. Bisted was grilled by my attorney and finally fired by my ex wife. I ended the case by saving $150K and favorable terms on all aspects.
