Had a free consultation with Lisa to understand Medi Cal and various options for my brother. She answered all of my questions and provided other information that I hadn't considered. I can only speak in superlatives for Jim Larsen, Andy Gillin and the legal assistants staff at GJEL. They represented me following an accident in which I was hit by a car at a crosswalk while riding my bike. My ankle was broken and severely sprained, and the incident resulted in long-term pain and emotional trauma. My case involved two insurance companies, the driver's and my own because the driver was underinsured. Andy Gillin negotiated the case involving the driver's insurance company. He's firm and direct in negotiating. He predicted a hard case based on the particular company but it worked out quickly and they made a full settlement offer. Jim Larsen handled the 2nd case with my insurance company for underinsured motorist which proved to be challenging. He was dogged yet diplomatic at every turn. I did a deposition and, while personally very nervous, felt well-prepared and supported by Jim and the GJEL team. Jim concluded the case with a stellar written summation. The insurance company came back with a full settlement offer. I'm happy to have this case recently concluded and I thank Jim Larsen, Andy Gillin and the GJEL staff for their expertise and personal support, and recommend them and the firm with the highest regard.

Between early 2019 and late 2023, San Mateo County Superior Court tortured Nafiz and I by continuing my case over a dozen times. While some were for Covid court shutdowns, most were explained as the prosecution's witness had a vacation or otherwise failed to calendar it. Nafiz and I had- on most occasions- blocked off our calendars for a week, dry cleaned suits, traveled to the area, and showed up. Andrew Marcellino is a great lawyer his representing me since my sons have been about one year old!!!
