To echo another review, the first hour of consultation is free. I felt the initial discussion was very helpful in highlighting the Medi-Cal process, which provided more color and dimension to estate planning. Listening to Lisa explain the various factors regarding Medi-Cal provided great insight to further reflect on my aging parent's estate outlay (I think it also helped that I provide Lisa information beforehand). Having someone like Lisa point out my own blind spots per se is highly valuable. Plus, I appreciate that Lisa has a team that can come together to address and respond. I think having an organization is important to attending to clients' needs. The office was also accommodating whereby the meeting session was held remotely by Zoom. I suggest that you call Bryant Elder Law to see if their services are compatible with your family needs and be prepared with pen and paper to take notes (I know I wrote a lot down).

When a sudden stroke incapacitated my mother in the Fall of 2020, calling Lisa Bryant's office turned out to be the best thing I could have possibly done. Since my father was already suffering from Alzheimer's dementia, I found myself suddenly responsible for both of my parents, their day-to-day care, and all of their financial affairs. Lisa and her staff helped me navigate Medi-Cal applications, Power of Attorney, estate documents, the sale of my parents' home, and all manner of ancillary issues. Every phone call with Lisa or meeting in her office left me feeling empowered and reassured that problems that felt overwhelming had achievable solutions in sight. I heartily recommend Lisa Bryant for anyone needing legal help with regard to their aging parents or loved ones.

Stephanie stands out as an amazing lawyer. She has many great reviews and qualifications. I needed a defense attorney (my daughter had a stalker/adult man harassing our family). I dropped by their office unannounced (desperate, didn't want to wait any longer for a lawyer to call me). I was greeted by her paralegal / admin? This review is really for her actually. She was so inviting, didn't stop me because I didn't have an appointment. She walked me to this very beautiful, comfortable room with so many books, gorgeous home-like feeling. Sense of safety and belonging. She listened to everything I had to say, sympathized and without false agreement, gave her honest opinion, saw our side (the stalker was totally out of line) shared some history with a similar issue which made me feel more comfortable speaking with someone who had gone through a similar situation. Unfortunately, Stephanie does not handle Restraining Orders BUT, she referred us to Adrienne Dell (please see her reviews) who saved us. I was told they both went to school together and are equally impressive. I am beyond grateful for Stephanie, Stephanie's Admin/Paralegal and Adrienne. Somehow it all worked out and came together. Their school should be proud of such wonderful humans. I hope she sees this and knows how much of an impact our short meeting had on me. Her referral saved my daughter. There is a reason these two have are the best. Thank you!

May 11, 2023 Update: I just wanted to clarify that the negative review left by Avocado Calories below is 99% likely from my ex-husband, who is the opposing party in our recent domestic violence case. It is clear that he left this review out of revenge towards me and my lawyer, Joanne Zhou, who provided me and my son with security as his claims are baseless and defamatory.
