Perhaps the thing that impressed me most about Joanne Zhou was nothing was "sugar coated". She was very straight forward and told me what to expect each step of the way. Going thru the separation and divorce from start to finish, Joanne kept me informed of each step and what the options were and what the risks were. I am so grateful to have met Shawn Leuthold, not only is he a highly effective and intelligent business attorney who can handle complex negotiations, but he is one of the most decent and honest people I have ever met. I was in the position of ending a decades long marriage with a long separation, and as the wife of a company owner who had plenty of legal and consulting assistance, I felt rather helpless. At the same time, I was not after an acrimonious divorce, which I seemed headed for with most of the attorneys I interviewed. Shawn guided me through an extremely complex dissolution involving not only the unforeseen purchase of the company with international obligations and complex taxes, but also the heart wrenching and sudden sale of the family home due to loans and outstanding company debts. He also oversaw the equitable division of company stock and resulting future payouts. Shawn defended both my interests and indirectly, my husband's interests, during the contentious acquisition and he successfully and calmly navigated a disagreement with a Korean company that was about to go wrong, while always having my back. The money he saved us during these negotiations probably ended up covering a large portion of his fees. I found Shawn to be extremely professional, responsive, and able to easily communicate and condense information, explaining it in everyday understandable language. His top notch analytical and research skills were especially helpful for this case. Shawn is patient and calm, but make no mistake, he will absolutely defend you and be extremely forceful when circumstances call for it. Believe it or not, he is literally what an attorney should be, committed to justice and doing the right and respectful thing while always doing what it takes to have his client’s interest in mind. Shawn, while still representing me, communicated extremely well with my self-represented husband, to the point that my husband left the proceedings praising Shawn's skills and the overall result for both of us. During these stressful times Shawn somehow managed to bring an optimistic viewpoint to life while still being truthful and realistic regarding the results. He even took the time to be a calming influence and speak to my adult daughter who was concerned regarding the welfare of both of her parents. If you have somehow managed to have found Shawn to represent you as your attorney, consider yourself very lucky, I certainly do.

I’ve been working with Stephanie for a couple of months now and she has made my experience so smooth. Not only with her, but with the court system as well. She was able to ease my stress which allowed me to not overthink my situation. She also made me feel well cared for and as if I had known her for years. Amazing !!! I don’t even know where to begin . I contacted Stephanie with some recent drama after a bitter custody battle . There are no words to explain how much she helped me .
