Nan took my money gladly and I don't think she did more than 2 hours of work on my entire case. She deceived me and I trusted her, as a victim in a felony DV case. She told me I couldn't have someone better in my corner, as a DV survivor. When my case was dismissed by the DA (with little explanation), Nan essentially ghosted me, on several occasions promising a breakdown of where my $7,500 retainer was spent. I still have yet to hear back from Nan, and it's been now 3 months since I requested the information pertaining to my case. She is a great salesperson, will say anything to get you to trust her and pay up, in your most vulnerable times.

Mr. Rios is a top notch when you hired him you don't get nothing but the best, he is always checking in making sure he is up to date with your case. If you need an update he is there, if you have a questions he is there, if you have a concerns he is there, he follows up on everything always even after you get sentence he still checking in making sure you follow the court order to keep out of trouble he even contact P.O to make sure your rights dont get violated by any of those agencies. If you have a hard case you need to find the right person to represent you and that would be Mr. Rios he goes above and beyond. I strongly reccomend using his services you won't regret it. Google my name. Yup, I went from a life sentence to probation thanks to Nan’s services. Nan is probably the most senior respected criminal lawyer in the Bay Area. You can tell the DA and Judges have a high respect for Nan. I think the other side knew the case was done after I retained her for this huge case. Nan provided a Crisis Counselor who helped me tremendously throughout the initial process. Getting arrested is extremely stressful and she knew the pressure I was under. Please note: She will test you to see if you can handle a trial. Don’t take it personal. I can see how it can be off putting to people. If you don’t like it, then don’t get arrested. Thanks Nan! I have know Nan for several months, she is 100% in support of Indian and other Asian clients but part of her job is to explain U.S law which is very different than what was expected. Most immigrants from India (Asia) take offence on her direct interpretation of the law to the point where they feel humiliated and marginalized, especially involving domestic violence. A kind reminder to our desi folks to let go of the head strong cultural traditions that in many ways prevent us from being successful in the United States. Nan is attentive, responsive and is always working hard for her clients to put their mistakes behind them for a better future in the U.S.

I’m a victim of a DV case and called Javier on a Friday night. Javier called me back early the next morning.
