I first got to know Mark through his YouTube series “Divorce California Style”. I was so impressed by the breadth and depth of his knowledge in complex divorce issues that I decided to meet him in his office to discuss my case face to face. Mark is a great listener, a creative problem solver and an effective communicator. With his help, I was able to navigate through very difficult custody and support issues, and take control of my situation. I highly recommend Mark. He is the man!

I hired Mark several years ago. My process involved important property and child custody issues. I came to Mark for a 45 mins consultation, referred by a friend. Mark is empathetic, knowledgable , and professional. He is a great communicator. I felt comfortable with him. In addition, He understood I am working on saving my marriage. He told me what to expect, and how he was going to proceed with my case, but he didn't force me to sign any contract during the consultation.

I want to add to my review. I gave Mark and his team two stars, and I stand by the growing pains and the communications during the time when I was working through my divorce. Growing pains for a team can be tough from a business perspective but wonderful for the business in other ways and means that you are succeeding. I have to add they circle around. They check in with you to see how you are doing afterward and see if there are issues that have remained unresolved which they can help. That in itself is impressive. They genuinely want to make sure you are not left fending for yourself in the legal field. No matter how busy they are with their client load. So if I were asked if I would do it all over again, I would say yes. Because Mark and Jean (she is amazing, she works her tail off but is able to keep her sensitivity to individual situations) are a good team.

After visiting about ~9 lawyers I finally had a chance to meet with Mark. It was a very candid conversation that we had - no stress nor was there any kind of talk that forced me to take action. That was why I accepted him as my lawyer. He kept me grounded through out the process and gave me factual data that eventually over time turned out to be right. The conversations were mostly very stress free and I was able to get through the procedure without further escalations/complications. He would always advise on using rationale over making decisions based on emotions - all of which helped me stay focused, avoid clash and solve problems as they emerged. He has a wonderful group of staff that was very accommodative , professional and happy.
