In my opinion, when it comes to legal representation it’s hard to find someone who legitimately cares. I didn’t have that issue with Courtney. She was there every step of the way. There were times I asked a little more than what was expected of her and she accomplished everything AND more! I highly recommend for anyone looking for STRONG legal representation. Courtney Cummings is hands down one of the best DUI/Criminal defense attorneys in Orange County. Courtney commands respect in the courtroom from prosecutors, judges, victims, and onlookers. You can instantly tell the moment she steps in that she means business. Courtney was appointed to represent me for a DUI Case. She came equipped with an arsenal of a defense, packed with strategy, case law, and supporting documentary and physical evidence. After having prepared a winning case the DA decided to drop the charges and the outcome of my case was exactly what I had hoped for (reckless driving – no enhancements). Courtney fought hard for me and did everything in her power to prepare for trial. There is no attorney better to have in your corner than Courtney Cummings.

Courtney was fantastic. She went above and beyond what I expected her to do and I definitely recommend her services. I was charged with a DUI and Courtney argued that the case should be suppressed for certain procedural reasons. Unfortunately, that did not work but it was always a long shot (which she informed me of from the beginning). She was, however, able to be sure my fines were reduced and prevent me from having to attend a 6 month course, so I just needed to complete the 3 month course instead. Overall, I primarily wanted guidance to get through this legal situation. Courtney was able to not only give me that help, but also reduce the penalties that I faced. Hopefully I never have to hire her again, but if anyone I know requires legal services I'll be handing them her card.

I contacted Courtney to settle a dispute with owed alimony. She was able to settle it out of court which I am so greatful for. She went above and beyond with this in going dispute!

I’ve never been charged for anything in my life. So I was completely lost and wasnt sure where to begin.... if anything i assumed court is like watching Judge Judy. I contacted many attorneys to seek advice, and where to start. Right away they would give me quotes, numbers, worse case scenarios. And this was a very very minor case. When i contacted Courtney first thing she did was look up my case number. That alone helped me get an idea of where this case was going to go. She was super informative, updated me on what was going on w the case, she was on it. I had only contacted Courtney through phone and I can tell you that she defintely takes her job seriously, she is willing to take the extra time out of her day to help you out. And not a lot of lawyers that i consulted with that i know of are willing to take the extra time to help you out if they dont think theres anything in it for them. I am very happy to relate that due to the superb work of Courtney I was able to win an early termination to my supervised release. I received a release of the final 18 months of my 36 month supervised release order. She acomplished this despite the governmenhts opposition and an outstanding restitution order of more than 6 million dollars.
