If you’re looking for an attorney, Scott Kron is your man! You will not find a more dedicated, detailed, competent advocate for your cause. I retained Scott in a dispute over the HOA permitting my neighbors' construction to impair my view and my privacy. My wife and I hired Scott to assist us when our condo's first floor was completely flooded by rain water during a big storm in 2017. Scott was highly instrumental in helping us to communicate, navigate, and expedite our way through the insurance company repair approval process, the condo reconstruction work with the HOA appointed General Contractor, and ultimately getting us reimbursed for all of our expenses and relocation costs due to the flood. Knowing that we had Scott (and Erika) on our team made a very, very stressful event more manageable and gave us a level of comfort we wouldn't have had otherwise. I hired Scott Kron to review a business contract, he provided excellent service for a very reasonable price. I was in a pinch for time and he was able to meet the timeline without compromising quality. He was professional and spent additional time than that was agreed upon. While he had an opportunity to take more work from me and charge me for it he gave me advice on how I could do it myself and saved me a lot of money - great integrity and work ethic !! We recently switched our small construction business legal services over to Scott. We liked our last lawyer but the fees just kept going up and we were avoiding using the firm because it became just too cost prohibitive. Every contract we do is different and I was really afraid we were going to get ourselves into legal trouble. After looking at different legal reviews we decided to meet with Scott and he took plenty of time to answer all of our questions and scenarios. I find myself sending all of our contracts over to him to review and his response is very fast and the billing is very fair. I worked with Scott to understand the mechanics (pun intended) of mechanic's liens in California. Scott was fully knowledgeable - which is of course a prerequisite - but equally importantly was friendly, trustworthy, patient and spoke to the client's level. This was a complex matter that he synthesized efficiently and in a time effective manner. I found Scott based on his online response to a question I posted on Avvo regarding a business dispute I was involved in. After a brief conversation with him, I dropped my previous attorney and switched to his firm. Both Scott and Anne have proved instrumental in fighting my case and getting it to a fair settlement, despite working with very confrontational opposing counsel. Over the course of the two year dispute, Kron & Card was able to get the initial opposing counsel disqualified, one case dismissed, one TRO awarded, sanctions against opposing counsel, and successfully fought two adverse TROs.
