When our daughter was involved in an accident while driving her two younger brothers home from school, we thought it would be a straight forward claim to the other party's insurance since it was clearly their fault and witnessed by a police officer! Well, when the insurance company didn't return our calls, we decided that it was time to bring in someone who knows how to deal with these situations. After a quick search of review sites like yelp, we found our lawyer! Zev took care of everything with very minimal involvement from my family. He even negotiated a settlement I'm sure we would not have gotten on our own. Now that is the way to deal with insurance companies. He even kept us updated with timely reports concerning where we were in the process - we didn't have to hound him to find out what was going on. When this second car accident happened to me, there wasn't a doubt in my mind on which attorney to call. I have used Zev Rubenstein in the past for another car accident and as much as the whole experience is horrible and something you want finished ASAP, Zev helps the situation significantly with his professionalism, experience, advice and flexibility. As far as turnaround time goes from when the car accident happened until when we received the settlement check from him, it was about a year. It was only that long because of the doctor visits and the time needing to fully recover from the accident so we knew what the full damage was, physically. From when the appointments were finished until when we received the check, it was about two months, as he had to prepare the demand letter and work to get the best case scenario for our family. I can honestly say that he went above and beyond for us (i.e. by making contact with those in the medical field that I could not get ahold of). My mom and I were the front car in a 3 car accident. Anything that could go wrong with settling this case did.
