Had a single appointment with Marvin Firestone while looking for a medication management doctor. It wasn't a good fit, but discovered once I found a good fit that Dr Firestone had entered a "compact" in the CURES database. That prevents other doctors from prescribing my medication until the compact expires. According to my new doctor, that's not something most doctors do regularly. Usually it's reserved for patients suspected of abusing medications. Maybe Dr Firestone, as a JD as well as MD, just does this automatically, but if so, it should have been removed as soon as I called to say I was going to keep looking. I am neither amused, nor impressed.

Well-connected & with good motives but very DIFFICULT to work with & OVER-BILLS repeatedly & very SLOPPY & with ERRORS galore (even on a key final settlement letter to my Judge)…thank goodness my mom was an English teacher who taught me to review all & edit as a kid. He did his best on an already nearly done deal, but clearly his 85 or so years is showing. Younger Docs now suddenly on his webpage? A bad sign. Sad, as he IS the firm, it will likely IMPLODE without him. Tells jokes & stories & CHARGES you $650./hr for them as well…omg! He & his billing have to be supervised closely. He can be mean & spiteful & gets offended so easily, a sign of a fragile ego & narcissist. Look around. Caveat emptor, let the buyer BEWARE.

Marvin and Michael Firestone helped with some medical license problems in the state of California. They are very familiar with medical license regulations and medical board conflicts. I called for a consultation on a vaccine injury case. A flu vaccine containing Thimerosal preservative specifically. The intake lawyer stopped me to tell me how vaccines were "safe". So, why is there a vaccine injury court with lawyers paid for free of charge through the federal vaccine injury compensation program? I asked him if he had ever read anything about Thimerosal and/or mercury toxicity and he said "no". A vaccine injury law firm that has never heard of Thimerosal is laughable as it's one of the most famous harmful ingredients used as a preservative in vaccines. Under public pressure it was removed from most vaccines but, not the flu vaccines. Terrible law firm.
