Malcolm knows his business and made the process less scary and painful. I highly recommend him!

I handed Mr. Ruthven an impossible case that I had messed up acting pro per. Not only was the case difficult , I am as well. You might want to call me a Tazmanian Devil with a good heart ;). I chose Malcolm for the reason he looked kind and honest. What I did not expect was his knowledge of Bankruptcy Law was so astute that I quickly learned I was handed a gift by retaining him. He worked so hard on my impossible case and he was able to not only get the results I so needed but he also got better results that I thought possible. I highly recommend this amazing man. I will forever be grateful for all he did for me. he literally saved my life.

I highly recommend Mr. Ruthven to anyone that has to go through this unfortunate situation. He's extremely knowledgable and quick to respond. You always work with him and not an assistant and he treats all your questions, big or small, with respect and importance. You'll never feel alone in this process and Mr. Ruthven will be by your side 100% of the way. I can't say enough good things about this guy, he is truly a wonderful person and lawyer.

If you're in trouble financially, and think you might need to file bankruptcy, call Malcolm Ruthven as soon as possible. Don't do anything until you speak with him. For example, I thought I needed to put my car in someone else's name. Malcolm advised me that I should not have done that. That piece of advice, of itself, saved me enormous hassles. Anyway, we just closed my bankruptcy case. Malcolm was just fantastic to work with. He is an expert. But more important to me, he is patient, thorough, kind and very quick to respond to all emails and calls. A genteman from another time. Filing bankruptcy is not an easy process to go through, but he made it as easy as possible. There are not enough stars to convey my deep gratitude. Malcolm Ruthven was recommended to me by a Bankruptcy Clinic in Marin County. Although it took many months to gather all the information needed to file for bankruptcy, he was extremely patient and encouraging.
