This is now 2 for 2 in Catherine getting me a maximum policy settlement! Not only that, but she managed to negotiate my two medical liens against my settlement down to laughably small amounts! I mean we literally shared a laugh when she showed me what my insurance ended up accepting for my emergency room visit. My first experience with Catherine was truly wonderful. In fact I believe I wrote a review on here years ago. That was a case wherein I was t-boned by a drunk driver. Pretty cut and dry but she was compassionate and fair not frivolous and just very human and great to deal with. Getting me the maximum did not hurt either. This time I was hit in the crosswalk and my leg and bicycle run over by somebody making a right turn with the glare of sunshine in their eyes and I was actually found at fault in the police report. A much murkier situation. It was looking truly like the suit was pointless because there was no way we would win. I was prepared to just give up and not file. Catherine called and talked to me about how unfair it would be to get run over in a sidewalk with the right of way and not even give myself the chance for justice. I went ahead figuring "What can it hurt?" Well, thank God she made that call! I will truly be forever grateful to Catherine for how she handled this one. I really cannot give a more confident referral for an accident attorney.

Catherine was a godsend! My partner and I were both injured by an uninsured motorist and my insurance company was slow to act and offered very little to us. I would have settled with them just because I hated having to sue my own company but Catherine felt they were being very unfair and suggested we go to arbitration. I decided to follow her advice and got a much better settlement. I really appreciated it since I had so much loss of time since I couldn’t do my usual activities for a year and my car had only 1 payment left! Catherine handled all the hospital, doctors and multiple physical therapy bills which would have made me crazy trying to deal with. Catherine always made me feel she genuinely cared about us. I always felt I was in good hands and I didn’t have to worry about anything!

My call to Catherine Lukehart was desperate. My previous lawyer had put me in a precarious position. He had done nothing to further my interest in a very complicated case and then quit unexpectedly after he reached the end of his retainer. A call to Orange County Bar Association resulted in a positive referral to Catherine Lukehart’s office. Lukehart listened. She asked me questions my previous attorney ignored. In a couple hours, she understood the case better than my previous attorney ever did, and knew what needed to be done. And it wasn’t pretty. I’m still amazed she took this case. After a two-year ordeal that involved - literally - a crate load of evidence that included about 2,000 pages of medical records and hundreds of pages of texts and emails, Ms. Lukehart negotiated a reasonable settlement to a case that looked impossible. Understanding what Lukehart does is why she is recommended many times. During conferences, Lukehart keeps it real. Her meetings are productive. Her questioning skills, coupled with a keen sense of case law, lead to legal strategies that work. Most importantly, she was able to help me make common sense judgments that subsequently affected the positive outcome of the case. At no point did she make a decision without my absolute consent. At no point did I feel pressure to make a decision I felt wasn’t right. Lukehart can explain in detail how the court will see where fault begins and ends according to evidence. And that’s important, especially when you think the whole world should see why you’re right and the other person is wrong. Lukehart’s skill at deposition was artful. During a grueling 400-minute deposition, Lukehart exposed numerous falsehoods the opposing litigant emphatically claimed were true. Lukehart’s personal command of the evidence set her far apart from the opposing attorney. The opposing litigant was forced to refute many items her attorney had included in his filing because Lukehart’s questioning zeroed in on inconsistencies between what the opposing litigant said and the evidence her office had subpoenaed. During the deposition, Lukehart's questioning cadence never broke. One question followed another question quickly for more than six hours. The opposing litigant didn’t have the luxury of time between questions to nuance answers. My case was handled in the most expeditious, competent, and friendly manner. Lukehart is an attorney who will treat your time, money and your legal case with the utmost of respect. Simply, Lukehart is an attorney you can trust.
