Extremely disappointing experience. My mother and brother scheduled a consultation for an immigration case and were required to pay $200 before even meeting with the lawyer. The consultation lasted less than 10 minutes, during which she stated that she does not take difficult cases and essentially advised them to do nothing. When they asked if she would refund the money since no real help was provided and such little time was spent, she declined. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. I hope she is more helpful to others than she was to my family. If you’re looking for real legal assistance, I’d recommend finding a lawyer who actually listens and is willing to help.
