This office is an absolute joke. I made an appointment and dropped off all my new client paperwork in person the day of, only to be called approximately 1 hour prior to my appointment indicating they would be cancelling and rescheduling for 1 week later. Against my better judgement I waited the week, instead of seeking new counsel, only to be called 30 minutes prior to my appointment saying they would be conducting my 1 hour consultation over the phone. They were late calling me for the consultation and they had none of the paperwork I had dropped off at their office scanned in to the computer, and they informed me there was nobody in the office to see the paperwork. The one hour consultation lasted less than 30 minutes, during which I did most of the talking and Guneet Kaur informed me she would need more money to continue giving me service and, again, against my better judgement I filled out the requested paperwork authorizing her to charge my card. She proceeded to disappear for 3 days and did not respond to my calls or emails until I left a message over phone and email rescinding my authorization for her to charge my credit card and informing her I would NOT be retaining her as counsel. Collectively, her office is disorganized and unprofessional. She basically stole the $250 1 hour consultation fee, which she did not provide service in return for and wasted over a week of precious time, during which I should have been making progress on my case. I highly recommend you call, literally, anybody else. Based on your petty and unprofessional response to my review, I wish to add "poor work ethic" to your list of undesirable qualities as an attorney.

I can't thank Guneet Kaur and her staff enough for their outstanding support throughout my divorce process. From the very beginning, they made me feel heard, respected, and fully informed every step of the way. Words cannot adequately express how grateful I am to Daniel K. Simon, Carolyn Layfield, and their entire staff. Originally, I injured my lower back lifting a bag of money. My employer refused to accommodate my injury. I became stressed so bad that I couldn’t explain what had happened to me. I don’t know where to start but i was helped with the most care from the beginning to the end of my work comp case this law firm really exceeded my expectations Carolyn layfield was very helpful always took my calls and got back to me as soon as she could I was never waiting by the phone or having to call multiple times to get to her she explained every step of the way what we would be doing so I never was left unsure of what was going on she was very informative , this law firm is good at what they do they will guide you the right way and do the most they can for you this is the place to go to weather it be for a work injury or car accident I have multiple family members and friends who unfortunately have needed representation for injuries and they love this law firm as I do, don’t think twice if you need representation this is the place to go! I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for me!

I cannot thank Carolyn Layfield, and the Law Office of Daniel K Simon enough. This was my first experience ever with a law firm and I would have never thought to contact anyone regarding my cumulative trauma injury at work if it weren't for my family telling me I needed to reach out after everything I had been through with my employer. I had no idea what to expect when deciding to get a attorney, and was so worried that I would not understand anything about anything until Carolyn took me under her wing. She was always so warm, friendly, and inviting - and she went out of her way to make sure that I understood everything every step of the way. So much so that I was never worried about anything in regards to my case. She made everything so easy and I, again, cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for me. My ex-spouse and I pretty much agreed on almost everything, but there were few minor details that we needed to iron out. Matthew was referred to us by a mutual friend and we were happy with the outcome. There was never any arguing and Matthew was a great resource for us. He patiently walked us through the divorce proceedings and answered every question we had. Having one mediator attorney as opposed to two attorneys made it much more affordable. I would recommend Matthew to anyone who wants a fair process.
