When I came to Elise, I was in a really stressful situation but also highly skeptical about my prospects. Elise was very professional, honest, and empathic from the start. The initial consultation was very informative and helped me to better understand both my situation as well as my options. As my situation continued to worsen, I decided to hire Elise. Hiring a lawyer is not an easy decision to make and can be quite a serious undertaking. Elise respected the weight of that decision and my situation. She did not pressure or rush me. She was straightforward with what I could potentially expect as far as consequences or repercussions and was careful not to inflate or exaggerate the potential positive outcomes. She helped me navigate a difficult situation with my employer and provided specific action steps. Throughout the process, she was responsive to my questions, requests, and was even sensitive to my reservations. While it was unfortunate that I had to hire legal representation, Elise provided the defense I needed against my employer who brought along their legal firm. Elise was instrumental in ensuring that I was able to reach a solution with my employer and for that I am eternally grateful.
