Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with family and friends that used this attorney. STAY AWAY!! He only cares about the money! He does not return any calls, he does not follow through and is RUDE!! I come from a long family history of attorneys, judges, etc. and they would never behave this way. Save your money and find you an attorney that actually cares abuot you and your sitution.

Our family has been waiting on ANY type of communication from Mike Findley who is handling our Mother's Probate Estate. It has been many months with NO response. We have finished everything we need to do, we just needed him to submit to the courts. At this point, we will be forced to file a formal complaint. It is extremely disappointing, and unprofessional. We only went with him because our eldest brother recommended him, and he has since passed as well. Do not choose this "law office"!

The McNamara Law Firm is a great firm for estate planning. Jane did a wonderful job setting up a family trust and a special needs trust. Estate planning can seem like a big task. They break it down into bite size pieces that are easy to understand.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of working with Michael Finley on a legal matter regarding visitation rights and child support with my daughter. Initially, I was hopeful as he appeared attentive during our initial interview. However, once he received the retainer fee, the level of service plummeted drastically. Communication was virtually nonexistent after the initial meeting. I found myself unable to reach him when I had questions or concerns about my case. This lack of responsiveness resulted in a missed court date, which had serious consequences for my case. Furthermore, Michael Finley failed to advise me adequately about potential legal ramifications, such as the possibility of being held responsible for the opposing party's attorney fees. I was blindsided by unexpected fees and expenses that were not disclosed upfront. What's most egregious is that Michael Finley violated our agreement regarding the retainer fee. We had agreed that he would notify me if the retainer was about to run out, so I could make an informed decision about continuing his services. However, I was shocked to receive a bill for $15,000, far exceeding what we had initially discussed. The agreement that he had written had been worded to favor his interest. He took advantage of my lack of legalese. Overall, my experience with Michael Finley was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I felt misled, ignored, and taken advantage of. I would strongly advise anyone considering his services to proceed with caution and ensure that all agreements are documented in writing. While I cannot recommend Michael Finley based on my experience, I must emphasize that my intention is not to threaten or defame him in any way. Rather, I hope that my feedback serves as a cautionary tale for others and encourages Michael Finley to reconsider his practices and prioritize the needs of his clients in the future. This attorney is a liar. Do not believe anything out of his mouth. He’s now asking others to post good reviews about him so people don’t know the truth. He is a thief that prays on people who really need an attorneys help. We have been fighting for our kids and as an attorney you should be passionate about what you do when it comes to people, their kids and their life. We are out thousands of dollars and still in the same spot since we hired him. Save your money! His unprofessional behavior is out of control, he thinks he can talk to people however he wants to. Respect goes along way, he has none! He forgets you pay him for services and it’s his job to deliver. Run!

Worst attorney out there. If I could give zero stars I would. Waste of money. Never prepared. Never follows up. We prepared our case ourself. He never reached out to us before court. We had to tell him what to say in court, never utilized any witnesses. VERY unprofessional!! If he doesn’t like what you say he raises his voice at you as a client who pays him. Without us as clients he wouldn’t have a job! Never should you ever speak to a client in the manner he did. Then would hang up like a child.

Attorney Michael Finley handled our case with supreme professionalism and care. He is very knowledgeable of facts and laws, and his compassion for not only his profession but his clients is sincere and shown throughout the entirety of the process. We are extremely thankful and grateful for Mr. Michael Finley and his work on our case. We truly appreciate his professionalism and positive attitude and we would fully recommend and refer anyone to his firm. Without him, we would not have known where to start in attaining guardianship. If I could give zero stars, I would be glad to. This man has got to be one of the most unprofessional, callous and egotistical lawyers. He was glad to take a retainer for his services, but his client had to practically do all the work for him from serving the other party correctly and in a timely manner to having to give him an outline of questions for witnesses and facts to dispute the opposing party’s lies, which he still couldn't even put to use. He was basically paid to work in favor of the opposing party. A father fighting for the right to be in his childs life is hard enough with our biased justice system and having a lawyer scam you just to make things even harder get the case dismissed just because we fired him is horrendous. It is disgusting what he did. Save yourself the stress and headache and find someone else to represent you.

Mr Finley has been nothing but professional, patient, and kind. I would definitely recommend his services if you’re looking to win your case! Am so thankful for all he did for me!

Mr. Finley exudes compassion and when you’re overwhelmed with concern and the uncertainty of your situation he puts you at ease with his knowledge, professionalism, and the way he really listens! He is a professional Family Attorney and knows what he is doing and treats you with respect. He gave me the best information and then took great care of my case and WON! Will recommend to others!!

Out of the top 8 reasons to fire an attorney, this attorney fits at least 5 of them. He has basically wasted the time and money of our family and created an even bigger gap in precious time to reunite a family and possibly affecting the lives of young ones forever. He is incompetent, doesn’t return phone calls, appeared incredibly disorganized and unprepared, and has proven to be incapable of handling our family’s case. A lawyer has a duty to pursue your legal action with zealous representation. A lawyer should not berate or belittle you, and they should not attempt to bully or coerce you into accepting a settlement or handling your case in a specific way. He was NOT open to talking thru pros and cons of the case and appeared to never have a true “game plan” while appearing in court. Appearance after appearance, he just showed that he simply didn’t care about the outcome. He was paid good hard-earned money to represent and fight for our family’s case and basically took the money and never got in the fight! If you are looking for an attorney, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING SOMEONE ELSE! We certainly have not given up the fight… we are finding another attorney who will!
