When I use the words compassionate empathetic concerning trustworthy considerate respectful it's hard to believe those adjectives whatever describe an attorney however the attorney I spoke with at Gitterman and Gitterman, Julio Del Carmen, not only deserves those colorful adjectives but so many more that parallel their meaning. Without a thought to his own time and with out interest in obtaining another case he educated me on workman's comp in ways that I've never yet knew not even my own attorney discussed any of this with me. I contacted him to replace my attorney for the same reasons many people do no communication however Mr Carmen took at least an hour of his own time and diligently and in very kind and proper language that I could understand helped me to understand what I was going through and when I was through he advised that I keep my attorney he was not trying to gain an attorney by bad mouthing anybody this person is genuine. After he spend his time with me I felt much more comfortable with my own attorney and knew that he was just going through his procedures. And while I would have enjoyed having Mr Carmen as representation I would not hesitate to seek out Mr Carmen should I at any time in the future need legal representation of which is an expert in. in short it is a pleasure to know that there are people like Mr Carmen in this profession and not only in the profession but sharing the Earth with other people we need more like Mr Carmen. Ghitterman, Ghitterman & Feld was the best experience with lawyers I've had in my 55 years of life, especially thanks to an incredible professional, Selma Sanchez (Lead Case Worker), but I'll talk about her in a moment. Warm reception in English or Spanish starting at the entrance and all the way through. GG&F are the best in California and now you'll understand why. I had a truck accident in California on December 7, 2023, with head, spine, right hand and right foot injuries. I previously hired a law firm for this Worker's Compensation claim and it was a nightmare. It was difficult to communicate with them and they were not very effective, they acted as if they were working in the interests of the insurance company. NEVER hire a lawyer without being sure that they are the best defender, because they could become your worst nightmare. I read the Ghitterman, Ghitterman & Feld reviews on Google and it was the best review I found in California, but I wasn't sure it would be any good. I live in a small town in Northern California and traveled with my son 1.5 hours to go to Bakersfield for the appointment. The 3 photos in my review are from that day, January 18, 2024. They are incredible! I was received by the extraordinary Candi Moreno (Intake Specialist). Then, I knew that my rights would be defended in the best possible way. But the best was yet to come. Selma, who also speaks in English and Spanish, is the most amazing person to follow Workers Comp cases. My primary doctor refused treatment and she called him and reversed it in my favor. The insurance company denied many things, including payment, and she called the insurance company many times and got everything I wanted and which is the worker's right. Selma allows me to call her or send her an email and she always responds the same day. After our phone conversations, she always sends me an email with a summary of everything we discussed and all the dates of the next actions to be taken and also our next meetings. Selma explains the entire strategy to me in a didactic way and I can understand the legal terms in simple, easy and accessible language. I doubt there is any law firm with 5-star service as extraordinary as GG&F. If you are looking for competence, experience and excellent direct communication with your lawyer, then GG&F is the right place to represent your Works Compensation case.

Highly recommend them, Julio has been absolutely outstanding. Going above and beyond for me, any questions I have had over the last couple of years. He really wants me to understand the process of things so that I would be well informed in order to make whatever’s decision is best for me. No added pressure to sign, very honest, and transparent. He is exceptional in the time he takes with me.

I want to thank GGF for helping me through the difficult times and their support going forward. As someone who developed multiple injuries in the workplace they are considerate patient and understanding about the mental impacts of work injuries. Excellent staff. I was injured at work in 2011, which unfortunately resulted in permanent disability to my body. Their attorney, Megan Compton (no longer there), worked diligently for me. Most recently, my employer had a change in leadership, and they somehow lost my disability documentation and demanded i provide proof of disability. I called my attorney, and Cyndy promptly found the documents and settlement signed by my employer. Cyndy sent those documents to me with specific citations for me to reference.
