I have been using Helen for a 3 year ongoing court case which she was amazing in helping me out especially when comstock lied under oath with unproven and false allegations. Helen always comes to court prepared unlike Morgan Holland who would just wing it in court and try to bill me $7,800 dollars for 2 court appearances with 1 hour each when he never came prepared and never studied up on my case prior to court, if you want a great attorney I would recommend Hellen, if you an unethical lawyer that over bills and is incompetent I would recommend comstock or Holland.

My experience with this family law especially with Helen was really not professional whatsoever they will take your money and then will drop you the next second like Helen did to my case! I had Justin Arnold was my first attorney and he was wonderful but unfortunately he was nowhere to be found and he was no more in family law so My only choice I had was pretty much Egan‘s law. The other party literally called six family law offices which Egan’s office was the only one that he did not contact so that was my only best bet and she told me that law firm was the best in Santa Maria and like the airhead that I am I believed her ! PLEASE please make sure you do your research and pick a family law that will represent you and your child or your family to the FULLEST. At the end of the day my son’s health and his future was NEVER Helen’s number one priority.

I have witnessed Jude in action in many circumstances and have found him to be one of the smartest and compassionate attorney's that I have met. He is ethical above reproach. Litigation is always difficult. Family Court is such a hard place to practice law, leaving most clients unsatisfied because so much is at stake and so many feelings are in the middle of it. Jude works hard for his clients making sure their interests are represented clearly and with a sound legal backing. Jude helped a family member of mine with a very difficult divorce and custody situation that was complex. Jude was able to get my relative her children and a financial settlement that allowed her to take care of her children. I recommend him to all of my friends

I was stuck in a nightmare that would not end, my previous attorney was doing nothing on my behalf. In fact, I found evidence of sabotage. That’s when I made the move to Egan Law and was connected with Amber Simmons, who managed to get a 3 year long stale-mate resolved and settled fairly in a month! I’m so happy to finally get a chance to move forward after being hopeless a few months ago. She actually listened to me, and helped protect my rights and future! Doug

Royally screwed up my case from the beginning. Did not protect me or my daughter from alienation and quite simply gave up mid way into my case and let opposing counsel basically dictate the case and get to the court ordered psychologist by allowing AND AGREEING TO SKYPE visitation with my daughter while I was not charged, convicted, or found guilty of any crime and was following orders to a T. His staff in incompetent, his paralegal often did more work than him and his pleadings were akin to a high school student writing a report the night before the assignment was due. Oh, and I should mention he disappeared on me for 2 months until I had to fire him for lack of representation as he flat out skipped my hearing and still wanted to charge me. Terrible. Maybe he got better but who knows, the SLO Family Court system is replete with corruption, top to bottom. This is was my experience with Jude Egan and it may be different from yours.
