Bret always responded quickly to our calls, and made himself available when circumstances changed unexpectedly. He explained legal terms and procedures in understandable layman terms so we were always clear on the status of our case, and what the next steps would be. I hired Bret to work through a multi-year complex and contentious divorce. From the onset, Bret told me "we need to keep you out of court." He succeeded and, although it was an extremely challenging and twisted course, we worked together as true partners. You will be very challenged to find someone with the level of integrity that Bret constantly demonstrates. He is on your side the entire way. I even stopped looking at the bills from his office---there was no need to review them. He's just a very good guy. There were a number of times when our long agreement needed work and Bret was there to provide the necessary support after hours and as needed. He was as dedicated to my case as I was! I know he cared as much about the outcome as I did too. He fought very hard for me. Of course, Bret is a solid attorney. He understands the law thoroughly and provided the right guidance, which is critical.
