I was simply trying to help a customer resolve and clarify his billing issue and the person I spoke with was incredibly rude, said I wasn't worth his time, didn't care who I was, and berated me because I asked a question. I have not been treated so inhumanely in years. Total lack of respect for others.

Called to inform them that my debt to the company I owed was paid and to give a confirmation number. Lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful. You call and they give you a BS runaround just to argue. She should be fired. Also, I was NEVER notified via phone or mail that I even had anything in collections. Just showed up on my credit out of nowhere.

Phoned just now after referral from AOAusa and when I asked the man who answered the call if he worked for Caine & Weiner to make sure I got the correct place of business he didn't say "Yes" or "No" just wanted to argue with me. Not impressed. I had a couple of collections I wanted to report, but I doubt I'll use this company. Not even 1 star.

A lady named Ruth is dealing with my case and I mailed her appropriate documents trying to resolve and she is just outright rude! I left her a voicemail in regards to her receiving the said documents and she never called me back and when I called again she put me on hold for what seemed like an eternity !! For nothing! Very poor service! Can't wait to be done with this!! Negative 5 stars if I could!

It's kind of amazing to see how salty people are when they owe money and are called out on it. I owed money, got called paid it and it was done. They pick up when you call them. They send you letters to inform you owe and follow the common practices of a debt collection agency. You are able to dispute, if you truly don't owe. I guess todays America just expects to be hand held for that and become angry when they don't get their way. So no people they are not a scam. People just don't like collection agencies because it hurts their egos.

If I could I would give negative stars! Some aggressive guy keeps calling my husband and harassing us when We've already paid in full. He refuses to listen and just tries to intimidate and wants me to fax him personal information. He's a total jerk and has awful communication skills. His direct line is 818-902-4273 if any of his supervisors read this.

I received a letter by mail (overseas address) asking for an AVIS fine.
I sent them an email but no reply yet, having read everyone's review I am confident now that this is a scam ...
Why would Avis not contact me by email, or why would they not collect the traffic fine from my credit card in the first place ...
One more thing ... one of the payment methods was a check payable to "insert32" !!!
