I would like to start out by saying that Merlin Reed is the antithesis of the stereotypical lawyer. Merlin is truly one of the good guys! He is a straight shooter and always there when you need him. My case was extremely complicated and things were thrown at us that we weren't expecting, and every step of the way Merlin told me what was going to happen. Even though it has been 2 years since my divorce was final, I still keep in touch with Merlin because a bond was created between us after everything we went through. Merlin is personable, honest and honorable. There just aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to this man for fighting for me and what was right, and I am eternally grateful for him for advising me when to stop fighting. His ability to tell you the hard truth is a quality that you usually don't find in a lawyer. He could have taken me for a ride and let me run up an astronomical bill knowing that we couldn't possibly win some of the battles, but his integrity does not allow that. He is so knowledgeable in his profession that he seems to always know what the opposition is going to do and how the judge will most like see things, and he is rarely taken by surprise. He had a lot of curveballs thrown at him during my divorce, and he took each one in stride. They do not make them like Merlin L. Reed anymore!! Forever grateful! Michael Branch

Ladies this attorney is heartless i would NEVER recommend him! During my divorce towards the end Merlin Reed told me to settle for what I was getting its Christmas he said go buy your kids presents. After him saying that I said how can I live on what little I was getting in my settlement, he told me ITS A MANS WORLD HONEY GET USE TO IT!!!!! How horrible is that to hear while a mother going through a horrible divorce with two children

I could not be more pleased with Mr. Reed's legal services. My situation was complicated and convoluted. With Mr. Reed's skillful presentation of my case, the court saw right through the lies of the other party. We were awarded what we had asked for and you can't do much better than that! The office staff were very prompt in responding to my inquiries and keeping me apprised of all developments in my long drawn out divorce. Mr. Reed's fees are reasonable and in line with prevailing rates. Overall I am very pleased that I chose Mr. Reed to represent me, I can put it all behind me and move forward now.
