Its nice that there are attorneys who will help out an inexperienced client navigate their rights with no money down. Reminder to read your contracts before you sign them. Had high hopes this law firm was one of them... 5 stars because there are honest people working for them that depend on a paycheck. Then there is Russ Brown: Ambulance chasers at law. Call themselves "attorneys" specialized in motorcycle related cases. Another sad case of the common ambulance chaser in their natural habitat of grey market law. Extracting money from plaintiffs and defendants. Huge marketing budget to "wash" said moneys they extract from all parties and make it seem that they are a "cool" part of the riding community. Yet not prudent enough to protect their clients from hefty countersuits. Here's a scenario that is funny and sad because it's true. John Doe can go on a common bike renting/sharing platform. Rent a bike from an unsuspecting bike enthusiast and community member. Wreck said bike due to poor riding skill. Then turn around and sue the person who they rented said bike from for their own inability to prudently and carefully operate said machinery. Not only in this above scenario would it be a gingerly loss, but said bike renter can open themselves up to a corporation with a retained attorney, the party they are attempting to sue who will retain a much more professional law firm, and put themselves under heavy scrutiny from most insurance providers. Then there's Russ Brown who didn't bother to explain the risks of said action. Hey YMMV but think twice, save a life. Keep your knees in the breeze and rubber side down fellow riders. Wonder how these shade tree lawyers would fare in an SEC/FTC audit.
