I met with Shannon, she was my 5th lawyer I had met with for my asset division agreement. She verified everything I had learned through 4 other lawyers. And she added some other things, and was ready to start the lawsuit and she made it clear how I could end up with everything. I did not want to go to court, I did not want to drag my kids through anything, so I had her and I work out an agreement that covered all the bases. She was great, professional, clear and was easy to communicate with. We settled based on Shannon's agreement and are now settled and all the properties are divided in a fair and practical way. I cannot put into words how strongly I recommend Shannon Stein and her practice. I came to her with a complex custody case, involving an international relocation of children who were living mostly with the other parent, who was beset with serious issues of her own, due to an informal understanding about the relocation that had broken down. I had never had an attorney in the case, and there was no reason to expect an easy path. Shannon quickly took charge, and together with her wonderful colleague, Malavika, and kind and sensitive office staff, steered the case in the right direction. At no time did Shannon play “dirty,” which the opposing counsel certainly seemed to do; there were no insults, no yelling or provocations. There was also no wasting of time and funds on unnecessary litigation; in fact, Shannon’s clear mission was to seek an amicable resolution, with an eye towards coparenting in the future, i.e., staying out of court. 10 months later, we had a court order moving the children to my (their father’s) residence abroad. I cannot thank Shannon and her office enough.

Initially thinking I could do my simple divorce paperwork on my own I messed it up. Shannon took all the information sorted it out and presented me with options to resolve the situation. She was up front with all options and a joy to work with. Wish I had started with her first!!!

I had been ambushed by my ex's attorney with a fabricated emergency court order and hearing date, the same day I was due to be overseas for a business conference. The ex's attorney refused to move the court date until I furnished a heap of information and delivered her a check for a questionable child support claim. Shannon calmed me down, told me that I am entitled to a continuance, and even tried to negotiation the continuance with the opposing attorney by phone. She gave me instructions on how to get the date move by working with the court since the opposing council refused to budge. Lastly, she encouraged me and told me how I could hire her when the time comes. I am very grateful for Shannon's calm and gracious help when I really needed it.

Shannon's support and guidance during my divorce gave me comfort and confidence throughout the negotiation process. Working through custody of two small children, all my concerns were addressed and resolved to my satisfaction, and more importantly, in the best interest of my children. I am very happy with my settlement.

5 Stars is not enough for her level of expertise. She handled my divorce which by the time I asked for her help a lot of damage had already been one by a previous attorney. From the time she took over my case all the way to the end, it went a lot smoother and cleaner. I was very happy with the outcome. She's compassionate and very sincerely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend her for legal consul.

I hired Shannon for my divorce which involved multiple properties, and our daughter. This took many meetings and could have been made more complicated but Shannon was with me every step of the way.
