Lawrence Markey was my attorney for a potential divorce that I was the respondent to years ago. I believed my separation from my wife was a temporary problem and kept an open mind about my family’s future. Lawrence was a very honest, caring and professional lawyer through every step of the process. He never tried to attack my wife’s character in order to get more than was deserved or needed. In short, he is one of the most moral attorneys I have ever known. He not only cared for me as a client, he cared for my wife and kept me grounded when I didn’t know what to do or how to handle situations. My wife and I were able to reconcile and have been together for fifteen years now. I would recommend Lawrence Markey to anyone looking for an honest, intelligent, hard working lawyer and not a slime ball that will give you bad representation in court.

As a Healthcare Professional and a Marine, Lawrence came highly recommended . He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and transparent on my upcoming divorce. He stated and outlined what we were going to do and possible outcomes. He took down my needs and preferred outcomes and we went from there. Lawrence steped in to take the case shortly before the trail date after previous attorney resigned due to conflict of inerest. Was quick to get to the issues and worked well with plantiff's attorney in resolving the dispute. Results: all allegations were dismissed with prejudice. I was greatly pleased in that I was resident outside of California.

Lawrence is exceptionally reliable and trustworthy. I hired him to settle my divorce. First off, he's a good, compassionate listener. Before hiring him, he was willing to spend some time with me to understand my situation and goals. There were some contentious issues with my divorce, but I also wanted a quick settlement. Considering my ex and I own a home and have 2 small children, this was no small feat. He focused on the pros/cons of each issue and provided his perspective based on previous experiences. He provided just the right amount of guidance without imposing too much direction. At the end of the day, my ex and I both felt that we reached a quick and fair settlement.
