From the beginning of the process to the very end, David was a very pleasant person to work with. Dealing with my first ever citation, David was very understanding to the situation and kept me informed and educated. His knowledge and confidence is very comforting, and most importantly he gets results!! I have nothing but great things to say about David - would recommend him to anyone!

I got caught speeding by a CHP motor cop north bound on the 710. The officer seemed personally offended by my Harley and the MC Patch I was wearing. He wrote on my citation that he had paced me at 112 mph. The officer wrote me up for both excessive speed & reckless driving; a misdemeanor charge. David explained that if convicted I could be fined thousands, lose my license, and carry 2 points on my DMV record for 10 years! David had the patience and took the time to listen to my concerns and special circumstances. He advised me of my options and the possible outcomes, based on his courtroom experience. David was present for each of my court appearances, advising me if & when my presence would be beneficial to my case. Working with the DA, David was able to have my misdemeanor reckless driving and excessive speed charges reduced to a simple speeding conviction. The result left me with 1 point on my record for 2 years and some community service. Lets face it, given the situation and possible outcomes, hiring David definitely paid for itself. I am absolutely satisfied with my decision to retain him, I will recommend him without hesitation, and I continue to have access to his counsel as I complete my community service.

I used David Dastrup to assist me with my DUI case and I'm trilled that i did as he help me fight it. When I called it was on Saturday morning at 8am and surprisingly he answer the phone, he took the time to speak to me and explained my rights even though he was not sure if I was going to hired him. However, I'm so happy that i did as the resolution of my case couldn't be any better. He got me a reduction to a "Speed Exhibition" charge which is the best outcome of a DUI charge (0.09 BAC) at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Court. Astounding! Spectacular! Stupendous! These are just a few of the superlatives I might choose to describe David's legal services. I have just learned that David managed to get ANOTHER traffic violation charge against me dismissed without any court fees or points added to my driving record. I was ticketed by CHP for excessive speed on the freeway. (Note: it was very early on a weekend morning with almost no traffic and I was late for a meeting.) The CHP used Lidar to track my speed, so I thought there was no way I could avoid a ticket. However, David used his incredible legal knowledge and skills to have my case dismissed completely without my appearing in court! David is the real deal. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
