My wife and I have been working with Mr Gerber to help defend against a very aggressive and mentally unstable ex husband. My wife also worked with him on her divorce. Both Mr Gerber and his legal assistant Tina are excellent at what they do. Mr Gerber is a bulldog when needed and really knows the ins snd outs of difficult family legal issues. Child custody, divorce, and other family disputes are his specialty. I highly recommend Mr Gerber!

Mr. Gerber is one of the best and toughest lawyers I’ve ever used. His team is top notch and always thinks two steps ahead. Would definitely hire them again.

I was referred to Mr Gerber when I needed the services of a divorce attorney, and was never sorry to have chosen his office during the ensuing process. If you need a Team to fight for every contingency that inevitably comes up, and you want to be treated as a Real Person by a Real Person, don’t hesitate to contact his office. This is the worst mistake I have ever made in my entire life. This man is the absolute worst when it came to advocating for my girls best interest. If I could post all the horrifying mistakes he made for my case I would. I lost money and I lost valuable time in dealing with this attorney. When I replaced this attorney I realized his limited knowledge and his lack of ability to truly represent my case in court. My fabulous new attorney didn't understand many of the things that were done by Donald Gerber. Please if you are considering him to represent you please please please BEWARE of what you are getting yourself into. I was a single mother of 2 beautiful girls. It was tough enough to make ends meet as it was. This attorney wasted my hard earned money and time. There are many attorneys out there be sure to get one that is worth spending your money on because this one is not.

Mr. Gerber represented me over the course of the last few years in my divorce and child support hearings. He is not your typical attorney that will nickel and dime you for every phone call, email, or letter involving your case. He was professional, courteous and reasonable in his efforts and demands, being extremely knowledgeable of the laws and how judges tend to lean in the various courts, as to not waste my money, time or efforts in a battle. He is fair and looks out for your best interest, as well as that of any children involved in ones divorce. His friendly staff is respectful of your circumstances and eager to support and help you in anyway they can. His paralegal is also very well-versed in family law having many years of experience and eager to help you along the way. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Donald Gerber to represent you and your family law matters.

I hired Mr Gerber in 2018 to provide information regarding my divorce case. I have a personal check Mr Gerber cashed for Services rendered (see picture). For the last three years attorney Donald Gerber has unprofessionally worked my divorce. It is a fact that Donald Gerber is very dishonest and incompetent. He is not ethical. He is constantly late and has omitted information from my case. He has been dishonest to the Court regarding my divorce. He has been reprimanded and ordered by the Court to stop such dishonest actions. Please see case file and transcripts. He has deliberately delayed the resolution of the divorce wasting everyone's time and money. *** I do not recommend Donald Gerber to anyone. Please see his other negative reviews online left by his previous clients. *** UPDATE #1: (June 2018) I received threatening emails from Mr Gerber regarding my honest review. Mr Gerber stated “Either you withdraw the review by the end of business on 6/5/18 and provide me a written apology or I will seek a restraining order; a defamation lawsuit; or both.” I do not appreciate these threats by Mr Gerber. ***UPDATE #2: (July 2018) Mr Gerber personally attacked me after my review. This is what he has done for the last three years. It is what I was referring to in my review. Why would an ethical business threaten lawsuits and post deceitful replies like this on Yelp & Google? No rulings were made against me nor was I admonished by the court. This is fake information by Mr Gerber. I am not the only reviewer that believes that Mr Gerber acts “inappropriate”, “unprofessional”, “dysfunctional”, “not ethical”, and “incompetent”. These are all actual words used in his other reviewers. It is exactly what I have had to deal with which has directly hurt me and my daughter. As the primary caretaker of my daughter, I find these actions to be reprehensible. ***UPDATE #3: (December 2018) Mr Gerber and was dishonest once again and was reprimanded and ordered by the Court to stop such actions on 05-31-18 and again on 11-29-18. Also, please see attached picture, proof of cashed check for services I paid Mr Gerber.

Of course everyone can have their own opinion, but to review someone who is not your own lawyer is definitely suspect and open to judgment. If anything, Mr. Gerber has done everything possible to get our divorce finalized, in order to avoid trials and added costs. He is not the one deliberately delaying our divorce, far from it. He has been practicing law in our area for decades, makes it a point to familiarize himself with how judges tend to rule (as any good lawyer should), and has provided me with sound legal advice throughout this divorce. He is not one of those lawyers who will simply take your money and allow you to pursue a personal vendetta, so if you are looking for that kind of lawyer, keep looking. As other reviewers have already said, he is fair, reasonable, ethical, responsive, cares about his clients, and tough when warranted. I would also like to note that if you have to keep stating in your review that it's "honest", then maybe there's a reason for that. Also, just take a look at my ex's other reviews and you will get a sense of what kind of person he is. And finally, I have a copy of the court transcript from our hearing, so I do have proof of him being admonished. He just chooses to believe otherwise to support his story. It's sad how divorce can drive people to do things you never expected them to do and refuse to take any responsibility for.

Unlike the "nothing personal its just business" lawyers that we all know , Don takes a personal interest in your case as he did mine. Don and his para legal Tina are both firecrackers that you don't what to mess with . When they see injustice being done they do everything they can to rectify the wrong !!!! Thanks Don and Tina for all you have done to help me and my daughter!!!!

I have used Don over 10 yrs now. He has been a great attorney for my family and I. He's always on his toes on how to make things easier on my end and not stress out. I have also recommended plenty of friends and family members and they all had the best experience with Don, after dealing with plenty of other attorneys and had a bad experience with them. He's by far the best attorney I have deal with. I would 100% recommend Don Gerber for your family case. Also, the staff is awesome Tina and Amanda make me feel very important when I call and come in, Always helping me out on any issues I bring to them. Great People overall in this office.
