Today I received news from Zachary D. Wechsler that I passed the Moral Character component of the California Bar! This is less than two weeks after Zach submitted my letter! I am grateful to Zach for his role in making that happen. I understand every case is different, and not all individuals receive a positive outcome, notwithstanding that fact I wholeheartedly recommend retaining Zach for any admissions related issue. I received a Moral Character Application request for additional information and did research on several California Moral Character attorneys prior to contacting Zach, and I am relieved I did. Zach is superb attorney who has decades of knowledge on the California Moral Character Application process and knows exactly what to say so that you can put your best foot forward when you are under the microscope. First, he will conduct intake to understand where you are coming from. A person who is an excellent communicator knows how to listen carefully to his clients and Zach does precisely that. Secondly, Zach goes above and beyond most attorneys because he can anticipate from reading your letter what caught the Moral Character investigator’s attention—he flagged certain issues in one of our first discussions and pointed out minor issues that were of lesser significance. That put me at ease. Third, when you are going through the process of writing your letter to the investigator, Zach knows how to tweak it to highlight relevant issues with supporting law, if applicable. In my case, he was upfront about the fact that I specifically did not need to admit to doing something which I did not do nor did I need to hedge. Fourth, Zach responds quickly to your phone calls and emails—in one case I need to ask Zach about whether I should send someone a character witness support letter, Zach picked up the phone immediately and told me to send the individual a declaration instead with specific language. Fifth, his retainer and fees are both reasonable for any major metropolitan area in the United States—they seem even more reasonable after the fact if you do due diligence, keep all notes, and compile all the documents in a lawyerly manner. You put in the time before law school, during law school, during the bar—you should take the Moral Character Application just as seriously (if not more seriously), than all the above and retain an attorney who can offer you peace of mind.

Zach Wechsler definitely made a heart wrenching and nerve-racking process much more tolerable. Zach eased my worries and made sure I didn't disadvantage myself. I feel that hiring Zach expedited the approval process. Zach stuck with me until approval. Ultimately, when Zach forwarded to me my approval, he made more than just my day. I feel that hiring Zach ensured admission as a lawyer, a career for which I work so hard.

I was a true wild child growing up and to tell you the truth, I was still a horrible mess all throughout law school and even after I passed the bar. You name the tragedy… I’ve experienced it. I first went to see Zach in my third year of law school when I realized I would have difficulty getting my license due to my indiscretions. He took one look at me and told me that I had to grow up!! I didn’t deserve to be an attorney in the condition that I was in. And he was correct. He saw right through my façade and called out the lost, broken child that I was inside. But I resisted. I wasn’t ready to give up my ways and change. Long after after my conversation with him, I found his advice strangely lingering in the back of my mind. I knew sooner or later I had to go back to Zach. I knew he would be the one to help me get my license. Years later, I finally visited him again and told him I was ready. And boy, did he put me to work!! I was truly transformed through my experience with him as my guide. The soul work that he made me do was priceless. I began this journey simply wanting a license to practice law, but I emerged a fearless woman with courage and direction. This is a man that knows exactly what he is doing. This is a man who cares and will do everything he can to make sure you get what you want and deserve.

I hired Zach following initial consultations with several attorneys, for assistance with Bar admission issues, and was very happy with his work. He did a great job advising me of progress in the case and on the issues. He seems to be very knowledgeable in his field. I would highly recommend Zach to someone seeking assistance with Bar admission.

I was referred to Zach when I needed some help getting my RIHC Application completed and through the moral character and fitness review. I cannot say how happy and grateful I am that I retained Zach. He is a true professional that really cares for his clients. As we all know, bar applications can be extremely stressful and frustrating, but with Zach you know exactly how to navigate the process with very little stress and frustration. He carefully listened to my history, set up a plan, and then successfully guided me through step by step. He was also extremely responsive throughout the whole process – both to the bar and me. Having a legal background, I was very cautious about finding the right lawyer to handle a matter for me. I hired Zachary D. Wechsler after researching attorneys in this area of law and his name came up from other attorneys as someone they would use. Over the course of representation, he kept me updated on the status and always was fast to reply to any messages or emails sent with any questions that I had. He was able to successfully handle the matter. Even if the results were not the same, I would still highly recommend him due to his professionalism and straight forward personality. I would not hesitate to use him again for any matters in this area of law.

I had consulted with 2 other attorneys prior to Mr. Wechsler, who were not very informative nor did they seem well versed about the process. They seemed as if their main concern was have me retain them and bill. They did not provide me any information I didn't already know, rather they told me they would go over my file and charge me. After having my moral character application denied by the state bar, I found Mr. Wechsler. After my initial meeting with him I could tell he was a straight forward highly knowledgeable attorney who, if anyone, could possibly help. I am ecstatic to say that I received my clearance from the state bar!!!! I owe it to Mr. Wechsler!. He is worth your time and money. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is thorough and genuine. Thanks to the hard work, patience, and great guidance of Zach Wechsler, I was able to get my bar card. Zach assisted me with my moral character application and did a fantastic job. I would not be practicing law without Zach's assistance. A great legal mind, I would highly recommend Mr. Wechsler for any Moral Character Applicant or Attorney facing disciplinary actions before the board. A++
