Charged me over $40,000 came to court unprepared every single time did not have the proper documentation that I provided to him months in advance. Take copies of your own documents to court if you decide you want to hire him. The only thing he did, that was good, was the deposition, but he was not able to use it in court, because he forgets things and he’s very rude. He promised me everything and delivered nothing, failed every single time. Other lawyers called him a showman.

Look at all of the reviews. I have a similar experience as one of the reviewers. My case was also passed off from father to son. Great experience with the father (Milo), horrible experience with the son (Mathew). The attorney failed to close out my case administratively. I didn't even get a final judgement (of course they charge you for every document, "even emails"). My issues are deep with this office and I'm about to go file a complaint and enter into some litigation behind the outcome of my past case. Just like the prior reviewer stated they don't return calls (at least Matthew doesn't, father is now retired). Most importantly is the lack of respect.

Best attorney you can ask for in criminal/family law. He manages your expectations so you know exactly what to expect. In serious matters like this, I greatly value how straight forward he is. He as also referred me to the best traffic lawyer that I have now used for years. He is also very reliable and answer your questions and concerns with urgency. You really get what you pay for with Matthew!

This firm came highly recommended. So I met with and hired them to handle two cases. Unfortunately the lawyer that states he will represent you will not, your case will be handed over to another lawyer. In my case, the lack of communication became an issue. Ignoring my emails, my phone calls and ignoring opposing counsel created alot of problems. I was not made aware of certain hearings or what was being requested at the hearings, nothing I asked for was being requested at hearings. Instead I get an email days later with the outcome of the hearing. The handling attorney never spoke up for me or defended me, instead made me feel as if she was on the opposing counsels side. I had to ask over and over and even towards the very end never got responses. . I released the firm from one of my least complicated cases and asked they handle the more complicated as trial date was set with witnesses set to attend. The firm dropped that case a few months away from trial.

Matt and his office are by far the best team for family law in Orange County. He by far is a perfectionist with years of experience that helps with the most complicated cases. Me. DeArmey has a 6th sense when it comes to litigating and seems to know his opposition well. My son and I are glad we hired him for our custody case.

This office has a lot of resources and when you retain support from Matthew & Milo you gain access to their professionalism and helpful resources. The outcome of my case was very challenging but Matthew got me the outcome I was hoping for.
