I have taken some time before posting this to give myself time to calm down from the horrible experience I had with unlock legal and Miranda. Understand how one bad review can hurt your business annd I did not want to do this to hurt annyone, but to prevent someone else in a vulnerable position like myself from the same misguided council I had. I originally retained Unlock legal in 2021 for assistance with my nursing license. The original attorney assigned to my case(Melissa Dupree) was amazing but by the time I had paid the retainer and was ready to move forward she was no longer with unlock legal(took me about 8 months to pay the 10k). Once I had paid them I consistently asked for updates and no one knew a thing…For nearly a year I pleaded with them to get my documents ready for submission to the licensing board. Miranda took over my case and I hoped with her experience it would be a good change. I was wrong. She knew NOTHING about me or my case. Her petition was not reflective of the work I’d done and was not aligned with what my original councils strategy was and the reason I went with this firm in the first place. I was denied licensure. And Miranda’s response was “sorry” - complete devastation. I received no counsel and was blown off from the time they received my last payment. (They were VERY responsive when my monthly payments were due) Then I learned I could have and should have appealed and that was the normal next step. They did NOT tell me that. They also didn’t tell me that legislation changed and sealed records could not be used to deny licensure. Had I waited a few more months for my record to seal, I would have not been denied. Now I’m on the NPDB, no license and I spent all of my savings on this horrible firm. I have never despised an attorney as much as I despise unlock legal. They are incompetent, uncompassionate and negligent. Do not hire them, you would be better off doing it on your own. Thanks again for nothing Unlock legal not only did you not help me in any way, you actually caused my professional career more harm and should be ashamed of yourselves. It’s been almost a year and I’m still cleaning up the mess this firm got me in. And to think I paid them to essentially screw me over. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.

I had interviewed several attorney's when I had spoke with Miranda I knew right away her demeanor over the phone and her experience in my particular area exceeded all the rest. Though she was a little more costly she proved herself right away to be worth every single penny. I never had to set foot in court, we did everything with a telephonic hearing. and she got me exactly what I was after thank you so much Miranda you are the best hi-5.

Ms. McCroskey successfully represented me in a series of hearings to determine if property of mine that had been confiscated by the LAPD would be restored to me. I was having a hard time getting my application approved for my real estate license due to past history that should of been expunged. I had interviewd a few attorneys in inland empire where I live and was not getting a great feeling about what the can do, I came across Attorney Miranda online and decided to set up a consultation which was free. When I first met her she was very proffesional and understood my situation crearly and I decided to retain her right away to get started. She began to work my cases right away and maintained me informed all time with updates and was able to successfully get the BRE to approve my application. I would use her anytime in the future if needed and highly recommend her to any friends and family.

Miranda was referred to me by a very good friend. I got a speeding ticket. I paid Miranda a reasonable retainer and she took over from there. She kept me posted as to status via email. When the court date came, she represented me in court with me begin there. The officer didn't show, and all charges were dropped! There was no charge other than the initial retainer.

Miranda has a heart for helping good people who make mistakes. She has been a great resource for me and my office for issues like traffic tickets, DUI, etc. What I love about Miranda is that she is a great negotiator which means rarely will one of her cases go to trial. She is bright, compassionate and has a great command of the law. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
