He represented my husband in summer 2017. We had retained a Very reputable attorney however, that attorney couldn't take the case due to a conflict and he referred us to Mr. Shah. We were not told he was a Very NEW attorney, Admitted to the California BARR 6/1/16, had never been to trial in any case, was new to this county and it showed! He worked in the D.A.'s office in another county, he now works criminal defense in San Bernardino county. He urged us to take a plea most of the time. He is not confident before a judge, makes statements that border malpractice or misrepresentation at the least, like, "don't worry, I've known the prosecutor for years, ill talk to them over the weekend." He won't give you the discovery even when repeatedly asked for and its your legal right to have it, he's hard to get on the phone, he ignored my husband's requests to file legal action with no reason as to why he wouldn't do it, although, he's very well dressed. He seemed more concerned with what the D.A. wanted and keeping them happy then with providing any kind of defense for my husband. I would strongly caution anyone with charges that carry more than 6mos jail time or a charge that carries ANY prison time, to look elsewhere for legal representation. He will gladly take your money and all you'll get is having to listen to him talk you into taking a plea deal. You can take a plea for free! SAY NAH, TO SHAH.
