Mr. Green is one of the best family attorneys around. He understood my concerns from the start and helped me fight for my child. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed and truly cared for what I was going through. Truly recommend him, you will not regret it!

We made a consultation appointment paid 100$. We start off with him constantly burping and slurring his words. Something felt off when he kept asking the same questions. He wouldn’t write notes of anything we would tell him then would ask us the same question we just answered literally seconds ago. We ended up walking out. We got frustrated that he was not listening to any information we were giving him. This is the worst especially when you come for help and you get someone who does the opposite

I could never have found a more honest, caring, knowledgeable and best of all someone who cares about helping his clients and not about money as some attorneys do. I needed Mr. Green's assistance with my very toxic, stressful, mentally draining divorce. Once I retained him, I immediately felt relieved by his very calm and assuring demeanor. My sleep literally improved. He was very thorough and kept me guarded from the evil. His staff is very polite and very sincere. If you are going through a divorce, I highly recommend his counsel. Matt took on my Kings County case and had to litigate against Wayne Hardcastle. Matt told me his expectations for a fair judgment, which widely differed from WH. In the end Matt’s view is what was settled upon. This is an honest and fair person who knows the law!

Matthew Green is just amazing, just simply amazing. He is incredibly kind, ridiculously intelligent, extremely hardworking, and much more! I will always feel such deep gratitude for what he did for my son. I went to court with my ex-husband over child custody, child support, and to advocate for our son's emotional well being. Mr. Green fought hard for my son, yet remained cool, calm and collected during the entire process. Which was such good energy to be around when I was going through something that was very anxiety provoking! On top of all of that, our outcome was great in court. I came to Gillett Law because Greg Gillett came so highly recommended from friends and coworkers as an attorney, who was good, honest, fair, and would even return money if you over pay him (which I had never heard of). During a court appearance early in my case, I actually had another attorney from a different firm tell me that Greg wrote the book on child custody, that he was the best attorney in the state for custody issues, that he had a good repore with staff throughout the legal system and is well known for his fairness for both parties. (Which, apparently, is typically how the judge likes it to be.) As my case progressed, there was a lot of conflict with my exhusband requiring a lot of attention to detail and thats where Matt Green stepped in. Matt investigated for Gillett Law prior to becoming an attorney. He has worked diligently on my case from beginning to end proving to be very knowledgeable on the ins and outs of every detail when we got to court. After obtaining his credentials to practice law, I agreed to let Matt take over my respresentation in court, where he did the most amazing job respresenting what's best for me and my family. Matt has been prompt with returning my calls and emails, meets with me at last minute (many times staying late to complete our discussions about my issues, when working as an investigator and attorney), worked towards my goals, gave me options on how to pursue dealing with my high conflict custody issues, was open minded and very realistic when it came to deciding what I wanted and what the judge typically orders based on the circumstances, as well as fighting for me when it came time to play hardball. Matt helped guide me through a long and difficult legal process and simultaneously worked on multiple cases of mine. I have dealt with several lawyers during my divorce/custody situation and Matt Green has by far exceeded my expectations and changed the way I look at Our legal system. Matt encourages me as a person, parent, and professional, even stops to have a real conversation (not pertaining to my case) with me when seen in public. Matthew L. Green represented me for my case, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. First off I'd like to say that he is all about trying to get the best outcome for the given situation. I loved his honesty and his work ethic. Things got done the same day he would say they'd get done. Matthew L. Green is very very smart as well which is very helpful. Mathew was amazing. He handled the paperwork on my case from the very beginning always kept in contact weather it was through email or through the phone. I was very pleased with how he handled my case in court and any time I was feeling unsure reguarding my case he reassured me things would be ok. We went over everything one last time the morning of court and I left his office feeling confident. I will definitely be back with the law firm if need be.

Mr. Green recently helped me with my case to modify the visitation schedule for my children so that we could change meeting locations. Mr. Green did an amazing job in my case. He listened to all my concerns and addressed them in the preparation of the response declaration very. He answered all my questions via email or calls promptly and was very thorough in his explanations. Most importantly, Mathew advised me well about the process of mediation which requires only the parties to attend. He waited patiently outside doing further research on details about my case, and when it was all said and done, I had a successful outcome in my hearing. Lastly, I was very impressed with his professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond for his clients. I will hire him again in a heartbeat!
